Permit approved 8/30/2022 and ready to issue. Looks like two locations will be going up in Chula Vista soon, the other one on Telegraph Canyon Rd was issued 9/6 and construction started the next day.

Drove by and saw the construction fence up in the parking lot so I went to check the permit application and found out that the permit was issued yesterday. Appears that construction is moving quickly.

Tesla Service Center replaced the rear glass under warranty. Known issue with the glass for this time period.

4 more stalls being installed. The 4th cabinet is a little taller than the ones installed last year.

108 degrees at El Centro and charging stalled at 35kw so I implemented the cooling hack and charging jumped back up to 68kW. It does work!

Permit approved on June 16 to expand this location to 16 charging stations. Hopefully it can stay fully open during the addition of 4 more stalls.

What you are seeing below is a long line at Tejon Ranch during a non-holiday weekend. Sunday afternoon 13 June around 4:30 PM and there is a 13 car line queuing up on the street waiting for a Supercharging stall at Tejon Ranch. This will be problem during July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas...

I have 35% Spectra Photosync Tint all around and found this V-shaped stress crack at the heater element. Will take it to my Service Advisor to verify a warranty claim tomorrow. May 2019 build.

They are on at least version 5 of these glass panels so it has taken a while to get these seals right... long after the initial rollout of the MX. My second set of glass replacements installed in the last six months are holding up well... so far.

The service center replaced both FWD glass panels for a second time within the last 6 months on our Dec 2017 MX. We politely pointed out the deteriorated seals and they immediately took the car in for replacement.

In my opinion, late 2017 or 2018 Model S 100D owners have better value cars for these reasons: 1) Free unlimited Supercharging 2) Upgradeability to MCU 2 / HW 3.0 3) Free premium connectivity 4) 72 Amp wall connector charging. (reduced to 48 Amp max in 2019) 5) FSD upgrade was only $2000 in 2019

FSD was offered for $2000.

Hardware 2.0 cameras were installed between Oct 1 2016 and Aug 1 2017. I assume thats when your car was built. Our hardware 2.5 MX was built in Dec 2017. Tesla wont upgrade your cameras but you can do it yourself. Here: Camera Upgrade – TeslaTap

We have a Dec 2017 build MX 100D and did the same $4500 upgrades. It truly is like a new car but with these added benefits: Free premium connectivity, free unlimited supercharging, and FSD (when released). We could afford to upgrade to the new refresh 2021 MX but I don’t see any incentive...

Air suspension on our X,S is considerably smoother than our Model 3 without it. Air suspension is simply a better ride all around and it’s adjustable.

3rd row is still grayed out in the Tesla configurator. Come on Elon! At least confirm forward or aft facing.
