Buyer beware. Buying a CPO Tesla feels like a SCAM.

Seems New York is a common location for the complaints. I live near Denver and bought a used Tesla from an independent dealer. It was in great shape with 77k on it, Tesla service has been great in this area in supporting the product.

Blog Musk Responds to Requests for Rain-Sensing Wipers, Disco Mode

Obviously you know the voltage ranges I refer to. In fact there is variance on the line voltage that equipment uses on many places. IE working in a power plant I see 208v up to 240v on those type circuits (that is plate rating, not measured). You misunderstood my proposed device. It would...

Blog Musk Responds to Requests for Rain-Sensing Wipers, Disco Mode

You can do that to an extent. The thumb wheels on the steering wheel allow you to scroll thru display options. What I think would be a very good accessory given more widespread non-homeowners getting into Model 3s is a charger than can merge power from seperate 110v sources in the house...

Totalled my S today....so I confirmed my Model 3 First Production order

No question he was at fault. The no insurance part, well I left CA 15 years ago, the legal environment punishes those that follow the law there more than those that break it. Hit an illegal, no license & insurance driver who made a fool move once, he got a ticket & walked away (never showed...

Tesla Semi Aims to Put an End to Dangerous Jackknifing

It may reduce the incidence of jack knifed rigs, but there are times you can't stop it. I was driving south out of Cheyenne, WY one morning with an inch plus of ice on the road, and gusting winds slamming the truck in the side. It was like driving thru a corridor with all the rigs laying on...

Tesla deemed as the worst warranty deal in Norway

Just the way Norway manages their economy should be a hint all is not right in Denmark across the water. I am down 20 miles range on a 2013 S with 90k mikes on it. That's 7.5% loss in almost 5 years, so I'd call that much better than 30% loss in 5 years or is my math off?

$2.3 billion Icy Road Regenerative Braking Lawsuit

I don't think the suit has merit. Having lived in NJ & CO and driving cars and trucks including 18 wheelers, any competent driver learns not to brake aggressively on ice. For one, they can feather the pedal to reduce the regenerative braking - or simply turn it off in the console. if they...
