FWIW I have 2017 S with 200,000+ km which has worked hard in regional NSW and with much unavoidable supercharging. Battery capacity is fine. Only noticeable change is apparent supercharger rate limiting which is not huge problem. May be actively protecting the battery.

Agree. Commissioned a 3 phase Fronius with BYD batteries and new panels a few months back. House already 3 phase with 3 phase wall charger. All relatively seamless including backup power to all circuits. So definitely possible. Kept the old single phase solar system running as bonus.

Sounds like the known fault with the older HPWCs and with the longer cables. Didn’t affect short cables. Had one replaced under warranty a couple of years back and they weren’t surprised. Yours lasted a little longer.

On ferry try to remember to turn your car alarm off otherwise will trigger all night. Also if you have air suspension then put into Jack mode. Avoid some consumption and wear. 3 years ago with an S75D hopping between Tassie destination chargers it was great trip.

Have often stayed at Sawtell Big4 Park in cabins for work, and it is pretty good. Wikicamps is your friend particularly for free camping. Illaroo National Parks campsite at Minnie Water is just gorgeous and with easy road access North of Coffs. Station Creek is also great National Park site...
