What I miss most on my Model S P100D (March 2018 build) is having actual maps when I travel outside cell coverage. All I get now is a big blank gray screen! Why can't the maps be stored in memory? At least give us an option to store the immediate region or the travel route to flash drive.

So, would a potential MCU2 upgrade also include the newer WiFi module which has the 5GHz band? Hoping that would address the very finicky wifi connection for our cars (Oct 2017 and Mar 2018 builds).

Sorry for resurrecting this old post... I have been dealing with a rattling noise in my S-P100D and it's been driving me nuts trying to figure where it's coming from. I tried holding the bottom part away from my seat as I drove to work today and the noise/rattle is definitely gone. I'll stop by...

Just wanted to respond back and mention that my sensors are now working fine after the installer removed the film covering the front sensors. All is working as it should now! :)

My October 2017 built S100D is not reporting any activity with the front sensors since the car was wrapped. I did look and have confirmed that the sensors are now covered with film. I will make an appointment with the PPF installer to remove the film from the front sensors. I don't know which...
