If you read the manual for your car, Tesla advises to keep the car plugged in if possible. Even if its just a NEMA 5-15 (120v) that should be enough to keep the car charged to whatever level you set and the onboard electronics happy.

Do you think the Model 3 will have some of the same methods of heating the cabin that the model S has? Like using the coolant from the motors instead of just the resistance heaters?
