    New racks now come out with steel bolts changed sometime in 2016 I believe so I'm sure any racks changed now will be new parts just have to watch used racks on the market of course it would be easy to change out when we get our June 2016 production model X back from the shop I will take it apart...

    Yes they came out kinda easily but still need that hard hit to break them lose I personally don't use the sprial sets anymore once you use the straight set you won't go back

    The little rubbers are kinda a pain you can use a small screwdriver and work the rubbers through the holes you can add some Vaseline to them to prevent them from getting cut when working with them also they unscrew off but are a pain to screw back on also have to get them to the right height...

    Update got a quote from the tesla dealer of 2,419.00 Canadian plus tax install and "additional" hardware thinking that additional hardware is outer tie rods and maybe some brackets oh and the kicker is they have one in stock! How convenient
