Quick update: Tried the 'get out and back in' (let the interior lights turn off before i got back in) and it fixed it just as well as a menu reset (the two button, or two button and brake reset still do not work).

Tesla is definitely aware. I have an open bug report for the no audio/black screen issue that was kicked up to advanced support. I get an email every week or two asking if what they did fixed it (it did not). I seem to get car software updated sooner now than in the past, maybe i'm on some list...

It took me a while to see the lower ding, vs the black marks, so i'd say fix the black marks, ignore the ding unless you can get it fixed cheap. Unless it bothers you, then just fix it.

In that case, already doing it. I turn on the cabin heat (just hit the climate icon) about an hour before i leave, does the full defrost, etc. The only thing i'm not doing is adjusting my scheduled charge so it end around when i leave, which i'll try.

@CUBldr97 there is no pre-warm/conditioning option in the model 3 app that i can see (i'm on 3.6.1 app and V9 42.3 car software).
