Track report - I need a bigger battery, cooling and brakes were fine

I noted this in the PNW thread, but I'll share here too; I chatted with Shaye Kane at RMP in February 2022 and was told that they hope to have a charging solution sometime in the next 2-5 years. You can get on their mailing list for updates as progress eventually gets made

Touch up Paint: M3 Red Calipers

You might check with @drpheta - he did some work on Brembo red Corvette calipers here: https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/diy-big-brake-kit-with-brembo-6-piston-calipers.266900/page-3#post-6727957

Connector for EPB on performance upgrade rear calipers?

Resurrecting an old thread... but I think I found the female connector on Mouser. I'd buy the TEVO one but I'm not really interested in spending $60 (for something that can be built for under $10) DISCLAIMER: I have not confirmed the 9441291 is the correct connector - this is purely based on a...

    Seattle Area SCCA-Like Tesla Events

Got a follow up response from Shaye Kane at The Ridge: 1) The only charging option today is inside the garages (120V/20A) which requires a garage rental ($100/day). No fee for charging right now, but indicated that could change in the future. 2) Charging stations are definitely on their radar...

Master Thread: Model 3s on the Track / drag strip- Videos, Discussion, Setup, Etc

How did you charge / manage charge at The Ridge? I've only been to Pacific Raceways, and the Auburn SC isn't far away.

    Seattle Area SCCA-Like Tesla Events

'21 M3P HPDE'er here. I was talking with Donna at ProFormance last year and she mentioned Pacific Raceways is seeking funding (state grants?) to put superchargers at the track. Timeline unknown. Been trying to find out more about how Tesla owners can help move this along. Interested in getting...

Pacific Northwest Owners (Seattle, Portland, or towns/cities in the region)

Had 19" Conti ProContact RX on my '18 M3LR. Tires were fine except in freezing and some wet conditions. Low noise, meh/decent life, but found them slick in the rain. Averaged 250 Wh/mi over 35k miles. Currently running Conti ExtremeContact DWS06+ on my '21 M3P. Very happy, but only 500mi on...

MASTER THREAD: Comprehensive Road-Course Modification Guide — Optimizing the 3 for the track

Thanks, all. Appreciate the feedback. I'm going to think on this for a bit longer before making a decision. I won't be back at the track until next summer, so I do have some time to save up if camber/coilovers need to be part of the upgrade package. Maybe a Black Friday sale will help make the...

Appreciate the input. Would this setup need front and rear adjustable camber arms?

MASTER THREAD: Comprehensive Road-Course Modification Guide — Optimizing the 3 for the track

Looking at getting dedicated wheels and tires for tracking without upgrading (yet) from stock M3P suspension/rotors. Want to keep this low upfront cost, if possible. Sounds like 265/35ZR19 on 19x9.5 ET35 is a safe bet with a 5mm spacer. Any reason to consider 275 width over 265 (considering...

Turn signal stalk sometimes does not seem to do anything?

Sounds good! FWIW, I only had issues trying to signal to the left. If you find something, be sure to let us know!

Turn signal stalk sometimes does not seem to do anything?

Yep, had this on my '18 LR and now on my '21 P. Haven't found the cause yet. Try to note the times it happens so that service can look back at any recent, available data. No guarantees you'll find anything, but might help.

Master Thread: Model 3s on the Track / drag strip- Videos, Discussion, Setup, Etc

Not sure how your track schedules sessions, but at Pacific we usually have 6 sessions a day, and I try to make the first and last two, charging over the middle two and lunch. Any chance you run the first session hard, trailer up to the nearest SC, and make it back for the last session?

Ditto. Used 5% per lap at Pacific Raceways (2.25mi) in the 1:42 ballpark. Track was 87F

FS: 2021 M3P 20" Uberturbine Wheels and Pirelli Tires - Seattle, WA

@ratluri Yes, still available, but I'm holding out for a local sale. If in a few weeks these haven't sold, I may consider shipping domestically. Be advised, shipping costs are expected to be in the ballpark of $600 (FedEx, USPS).

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Hey everyone! I have a white M3P on order and am looking to replace the Uberturbine wheels. Ideally, I'm spending around $3k for wheels, tires and TPMS on a summer daily setup. I really like the look of the Vorsteiner V-FF 107 in carbon graphite on white with chrome delete. My option here would...

    FS: 2018 Model 3 RWD Long Range - Blue/Black 34K Miles (Seattle)

Selling my 2018 Long Range RWD Model 3 to make room for a Performance Model 3. Car is in excellent mechanical condition, has 300+ mile range, only minor scratches/scuffs and curb rash, and a clean title. I purchased new from Tesla Bellevue and have had no collisions or major repairs. New rear...
