I would probably wait until Tesla has more information available on what they will do to settle the issue. If they upgrade your battery pack presumably your warranty would be extended and you could keep the car for another 8 years. I am in a similar supercharging boat.

Not a whole lot of progress at this point. One of the employees at Wawa said she hopes it’s completed soon after the holidays.

Charging here since approx 6 10pm. The gates are up and I did not have to Take a ticket. Free to enter garage after 6 pm on this particular Sunday, it seems. Chargers maxed out at 48kw

Somebody on plug share said they were able to charge for free at 345 am overnight. Any thoughts?

Saw that too and got excited! Seems like that would be a perfect location to get a quick charge in. Fingers crossed they start construction soon.

Would love to see a sueprcharger go in before cooler temps, as winter always saps range on my model S, even on short trips into the city. Philly is definitely a supercharger desert.

Fingers crossed! Although Devon has great service, driving out there has always been a pain! I'm hopeful there will be at least a couple of superchargers out here too.

Got my P85D done at a place called OSMI car in Willow Grove. 50% ceramic film, with the rear and side windows was 400$ I believe. They do great work, no bubbles whatsoever.

Certainly, but a slow charger at home(not in the city) isn't really equivalent to a supercharger in the city.

It absolutely blows my mind that there's no supercharger in Philly, and not even a mention of the anticipated location. After a long day of driving around the city in freezing weather, the battery gets depleted pretty quickly, and I'd like some alleviation of the range anxiety...
