Buyer beware. Buying a CPO Tesla feels like a SCAM.

I thought the bankruptcy rumours were short sellers fake news but this new CPO policy smacks of a company in financial trouble.

Toothslayer.....when you ordered the car was it listed as "Not Refurbished"?

Buyer beware. Buying a CPO Tesla feels like a SCAM.

With the new policy of not refurbishing the vehicles, allow me to amend my recommendation from "just don't sign for it" to "just don't buy it".

Thanks. That is new. Wow. They are listing a $94K car and not refurbishing it. That's crazy.

    CPO delivery process

    CPO delivery process

Interesting. You would think that if they choose a car to post online as a CPO, that they would be pretty sure it's not going to wind up at auction. Most of the CPO listings that I've seen online don't seem to last very long. Before listing they should be inspected and if the car needs...

    CPO delivery process

Does anyone know why Tesla doesn't refurb the CPO vehicles before posting them online? They know that they are going to sell them one way or another. Why not just get the refurb process out of the way and speed up delivery?
