How many miles are you doing. The 701’s are meh performance wise. Not great in the wet but good at high speed and hwy. if your after performance you probably will never achieve on the street then there are better options. If you are on stock suspension then the 701 for a daily or higher milage...

Just to round this up I just got a pair of fans (2 single ones for clarification) for about $300 canadian delivered so about $110 USD each. Best price I could find was from MalpasAirflow. They were the 009-A70-74D without the 3 speed resistor that usually needs bypassing.

You already did taking that cover off. But to be extra sure you could power down the VMS and pull the orange disconnect behind the driver side wheel well. I would simply verify with a DVM there is no power and then use said DVM to check continuity of the fuses.

Do you need fronts or rears, I suspect you need rears, but I have some fronts that are used but not abused. The rears I need until the company I am working with build my new ones. Give me a few days to look into who to call/contact for rebuilding. I have it logged somewhere.

Rebuild the ones you have for the cheapest option. It’s not expensive, just send them to bilstein. Don’t have the address on my phone but there’s a form you fill out IIRC and you just ship them yours. Most are surprised how cheap it is, especially if you are in Europe.

Also worth finding out what amperage the destination connectors are. You may get lucky and find some 80A ones. But the majority of vehicles top out now at 48, 20-40A is now the norm at most hotels.

That’s what I do. Unplug it to reset. I almost put a momentary switch into the power to reset it because sometimes it does it frequently then for months it’s faultless.

Having pulled my motor apart 4 times you would think I would have picked up on that, I assumed you were bypassing the inverter but it makes a lot more sense now.

Interesting, you are keeping the orientation of the S motor, how much weight did that put behind the axle, I reversed mine to try and get better axle alignment and put the motor and inverter further forward.

Did you check the wiring diagrams, they would probably be your best start as it would be in the low voltage system and have communication with the VDS like the OVMS does. So not the stereo or gps system. It’s 2G so inactive so it’s not readable. My uneducated guess would be the APS or switchpack.
