De-chromed! Satin black all around except emblems and badges, side markers carbon fiber. Glad I did it. :cool:

I'm torn. I like the "blacked" out look, at the same time, the chrome makes the car look classy and expensive. I have a original blue metallic S with 21' grey turbines. Thoughts?

thinking of doing this on my S. original metallic blue. most likely satin black. do you paint or wrap the rear applique? I hear paint is the way to go since you can't wrap the sides of the TESLA letters.

I discarded it. You might want to keep the nose cone as it goes for about $125 on ebay.

Here is my P85+ with TS refresh bumper

Correction. It was painted matte black. If the car is black, they recommend painting it the same color as the bumper.

Took half day since they have a lot of jobs. Actual install I believe is 1.5-3 hours depending on number of guys. More than pleased how it came out. Perfect fit! Finish immaculate. They take off the side mirror cover to color match and sends along with the bumper to an authorized tesla body shop...

It's part of the bumper where the v strip clamps on. Not a separate part. Don't know the material but softer than the rest of the bumper.

Well worth the wait :)

Quick update. Installation got postponed to tomorrow.

Paint and install is $1500 with TS. Cheaper elsewhere but wanted to make sure it was done right.

Thought about getting unplugged but liked the design from TS better. No meet ups in the near future, but will post detailed before/after pics.

Getting it installed on Thursday.

Expecting delivery soon from TS. Will post pics once installed.
