    Software Update 2019.12.x

With this 2019.12 build I notice that the radio stops playing when I switch into reverse. Very odd and definitely new behavior/bug. Anyone else seeing this?

    Enhanced Anti-theft Upgrade Video Demo

I put my order in yesterday. Living in the San Francisco area with a lot of corner window breaking worries me. Hopefully with this and sentry mode I can feel more comfortable.

    Enhanced Anti-theft Upgrade Video Demo

I assume that the microphones will get replaced with this update. Have you tried out using Bluetooth (at highway speeds, and with/without the climate system enabled) to see if the microphone quality has changed?

Supercharger - Alameda, CA (LIVE 15 Dec 2018, 12 stalls)

@ecarfan I have a Model S 75D as it stated in my post (which probably also has a 48 A max) which is fine. My bad. I still don't know why am am usually maxxing out at around 32 kW at the Alameda Superchargers though. I've sent a message to supercharger (at) tesla.com.

Supercharger - Alameda, CA (LIVE 15 Dec 2018, 12 stalls)

I just noticed that the charging speed on my display shows the Charge Current as 48 A ( Model S - bottom left corner of the charging window). If this were using DC charging, wouldn't it have a much higher value than 48 A or a different value completely? I haven't been to a different charger for...

The .48* updates haver broken TACC

New users have TACC which slows down when there is a car in front of you. There is still no need to change the maximum speed.

For discussing the issue of locals charging at California Superchargers

That is our primary assumption. We have one member who is a regular with Superchargers and has reported the issue officially, so hopefully they can send out a team to verify everything is set up properly. Thanks for the writeup.

For discussing the issue of locals charging at California Superchargers

I was directed to this forum because of disucssion as to whether there is rate limiting when using a local charger. I read through all of the pages of this post and there is no mention of that concept at all. The Alameda SuperCharger seems to be inconsistent in its charging speeds, where some...

Supercharger - Alameda, CA (LIVE 15 Dec 2018, 12 stalls)

I'm really confused. I came to charge at 50%. I got a max charge at 32 kW. I'm in 4A. Nobody in 4B or 3A. Someone in 3A. At around the same time, someone parked in 4B and left 3A. My charging rate went UP to 45kW (at 73%). There is something funky here. I'd love to understand the logic, if...

Supercharger - Alameda, CA (LIVE 15 Dec 2018, 12 stalls)

I bought in Dublin (CA) charged in Dublin with no problem. I picked up in Fremont and charged in Fremont no problem. I've charged in San Mateo, San Carlos with no problem. Its just Alameda, (same city, but not the same ZIP code), and I get slow speeds. I think it's the chargers not the...

Supercharger - Alameda, CA (LIVE 15 Dec 2018, 12 stalls)

I've gotten slow charging here since it opened. I charge at home and at the charger. Maybe the slow charging if you are using a "local supercharger" since they are supposed to be for distance travel?

Supercharger - Alameda, CA (LIVE 15 Dec 2018, 12 stalls)

I agree. The Alameda charger is much slower than the San Mateo and San Carlos chargers that I had previously been going to (San Mateo is the same style (A/B), San Carlos is the newer individual stalls). Even when nobody is next to me, I'm at about 1/2 the charging speed I would expect to be at.

It looks like they moved the bumpers back aboy 18 inches. In the picture you can see a little discoloration and some cut-off bolts in the ground where the bumper used to be. The hoses should be a little easier to move around now.

The .48* updates haver broken TACC

OK - I did some driving yesterday and see what is happening. If I am on Autopilot, set at 35, slow down to 15 due to traffic (still on Autopilot) and grab the steering wheel to switch lanes, it resets the CC max speed to 18. I am still on CC, but not Autopilot at this point. If I double-pull on...

The .48* updates haver broken TACC

I get that, but being at 35MPH, and reengaging CC (when I was AT 35 before) should not drop me down suddenly to 18, whether or not I know how to readjust back up to 35. Of course I re-increase the speed back to the speed limit.
  18. J

The .48* updates haver broken TACC

Exactly. My issue isn't even in the "resume" functionality, as I consider it a "set". I am in a 35 zone and my CC is set to 35. My TACC slowed down to 10MPH because of traffic lights. I press the brakes to lose TACC. I then start driving again and speed up to 35 and engage TACC. It sets the...

The .48* updates haver broken TACC

I agree. I find myself at 18MPH when I engage TACC in a 45MPH zone because I hit the brake at a traffic light or something (I can't actually figure out the cause, but I know I was at a higher speed when it was on before, I'm in a higher speed zone now, I'm traveling faster than 18MPH when I turn...

The problem with the 30-minute parking sign is that the ground is painted with EV Charging Only, which is contradictory.

Supercharger - Alameda, CA (LIVE 15 Dec 2018, 12 stalls)

Just stopped by this morning. The Alameda Municipal Power guys were there. Tech update: The old Green Transformer that was hauled away was a "refurb" and they detected an oil leak. (The oil is used as an insulator inside the transformer). You should be able to see the oil on the concrete. So...

Supercharger - Alameda, CA (LIVE 15 Dec 2018, 12 stalls)

Maybe they lowered the speeds before leaving last night. I've got a slow charge too, although it is better than my 110v at home, and I'm already above 75%, so it's usually slower anyway. But the cones are gone and people are coming through. And I just checked and it's in the Supercharger list...

Supercharger - Alameda, CA (LIVE 15 Dec 2018, 12 stalls)

Seems like there is a small electrical issue that can't be resolved until tomorrow. Probably a quick fix and everything else is in order. So, if the electrical team can resolve it quickly, we should be up tomorrow, maybe in the morning.
