In induction motors there's a current flow also in the rotor...right? I'm more confused about the fact that in one of their videos Electric GT said that it was the stator that overheats.

As far as I know Model 3 handles heat better because it has permanent magnet motors instead of induction motors. In Model S also the motors are problematic.
