Volk Racing TE37 Gallery for Model 3

Hi All, Looking for some help with verifying if the system motor sports 19x9.5 TE37 would fit the Brembo GTM BBK kit I have on my M3P. Seeing if anyone local in the OC/IE area that has this set to possibly do a test fit? I would like to be sure before putting down that type of money and come...

Volk Racing TE37 Gallery for Model 3

I see that you have a BBK from Stoptech, are those the 368mm or 380mm kit that fits in the 18” TE37? I have the Brembo GTM 380mm kit and a test fit an Unplugged Performance showed the 18” Saga SL Plus barely clears. Too close to risk running 18”, still considering the 19” TE37.

FS: Used Eibach lowering springs (LR RWD)

I do not recall how many miles I put on them. Only had the installed for 6 months before swapping them out for MPP coilovers, been sitting in my garage for 3 years. I would say less then 2K mi. Not willing to ship, just local pickup.

    Lowering the Model 3

I actually tried to get an alignment on Sunday at Firestone but they said they couldn't do it because their computer for the alignment machine did not have the specs for the 2018 Model 3 but they did have the 2017 but did not want to do it. So I still haven't done the alignment but so far it...

    Lowering the Model 3

The ride is just a little stiffer and some of the minor rear vibration noise I have has been increased due to the stiffer ride. But overall its still a comfortable ride. Now I got to locate what is loose in the rear passenger side of the car.

    Lowering the Model 3

I used a spring compressor to remove the front springs from the struts after taking out the entire front upper A-arm and top pillow mount. I didn't take much pictures under the car, more of the parts once removed. Now that I have done it once, its actually not too hard, the front took 3 hrs...

    Lowering the Model 3

Installed the Eibach springs this morning, job took about 4.5-5hrs including prep and cleanup. Was done with suspension in about 4hrs. So Eibach quoting it to be a 4hr job was pretty accurate which included alignment too, so not too bad. Still gotta take the car in to get an alignment to make...

    Jacking up via suspension?

I bet there is areas that can be used to be another jack point but it's call covered up. Jacking up on the a-arm works too.

    Jacking up via suspension?

I got the custom jack pads for the Model 3 and plan to use that with my 1.5 ton jack (Harbor Freight) to jack it up at the jack points whenever I need to remove the wheels. I plan on using another 2 ton jack (Harbor Freight) to then jack up the suspension underneath the A-arm where the...

    Undercarriage Cover

Mine had one spot on the undercarriage cover that was not fitted tight. All I did was give it a good smack with the palm of my hand and the clips snapped in place. No problems now.

    Jack Stand Comparison

I just bought 4 of the jack pads today since I do a lot of my own work on my cars. I am going to be lowering the car and need to put the car on jack stands. I was wondering if these jack pads will work with the normal jack stands and prevent the top fork on the jack stands to make an indentation...

    Lowering the Model 3

I'm assuming since the car is lower and the shock is the same length it would potentially hit the bump stops more often at max spring compression. By trimming the bump stops, that would give you another 20-25mm shock travel before hitting the bump stop.

    Lowering the Model 3

I ordered my Eibach springs this morning and just picked them up and quickly unboxed them to take a look at them. But for now I have to wait to install them since I am waiting for the jack pads that I ordered for the Model 3 so that I don't cause any damage to the jack points and potentially the...
