Still nothing. In addition you have to go against traffic to park there. I am beginning to think that this will not be opened because someone will not sign off in the design of this station or there is some issue with chapel hill that will not get resolved. It’s been 5+ months now.

I see no change. The meter cycles to various texts so I suspect no power to meter. This site almost always has cars in these slots. I am hoping this changes once charging is available but there has to be strict signage or there will be people parking in these spaces all the time. Very busy and...

Nothing new….

Still nothing. Wow 2 months of waiting.

Still no power. On the bright side when I stopped yesterday, first time a bunch of spots not taken by people parking.

Still no power but charging pedestals are now screwed closed or have screw covers on them.

Ugh bad news. Area was flooded with about 2” water coming from this electrical channel

I was there this PM and there was a utility guy looking at the cabinets and he said they were live and he was inspecting them because apparently Tesla claimed they were damaged during installation. He was not looking at the charging stations themselves but the large box like structures. As of...

No power to the chargers, but the transformer had “00000000” on the display vs a bunch of flashing letters before. Not sure if that means anything but it’s a change.

Meter in transformer looks on with a bunch of “0000” on it. This place is going to be a disaster in terms of ICE parking at the chargers. It’s always full.

I talked to a utility guy at the site today. He said it’s supposed to be active by Sunday.

This is desperately needed as the other north Charlotte SC is consistently over utilized.

Justo add again 4/8 chargers not working. Others all filled. Had to go to electrify America stop nearby

Am pretty excited. Have family in the area. This will make traveling here that much easier. Have to hand it to Sheetz for getting into the electric arena on many fronts. Wish Tesla had a ccs adapter as I see many sheets ccs chargers rated at 350 kw.

just FYI read that a supercharger location has been approved in williamsport Pa which for people traveling on 15 or with family there (!) will be nice.

Hey- I plugged in and got a notification while eating here that Tesla MAY charge idling fees once charged. Has anyone been charged this? I understand (11/12 chargers full when I arrived) rationale but sort of a pain to have to leave a resteraunt to move car.

I charged for 20 minutes while eating across the street. A day later noted a scratch on the car my back tail light, not somewhere you can scratch the car by accident. Not positive when this happened, but not sure I would charge car unattended at this location.
