Rogers is the carrier for Tesla Canada?

Having issues as well - submitted a service request as I didn't know it was a provider outage and have been given no ETAs. Really wonder how Tesla gets away with no communication of any kind to it's customers.

LTE/Premium connectivity issues in GTA region

Has anyone else experienced connectivity issues in the GTA region? I submitted a service request and they said it's an issue with their provider and they have no ETA for resolution. It's been at least 2 if not 3 days now where I cannot connect to my car when on LTE or stream music.

Question about brakes on Model 3

Ya I may just do that. I may be overthinking this but it just doesn't look right.

Question about brakes on Model 3

It's possible yes but basically every time I do take the car out I am putting the car into low regen and ensuring I use the brakes. My car sits for maximum 3-5 days before it moves due to COVID and WFH. I imagine there are other owners who don't move their car daily and live in salt regions...

Question about brakes on Model 3

So just an update here. I think the issue has gotten worse over the past 6-7 months. Has nobody else seen this on their cars? I understand the brakes don't get used much but I have been making a conscious effort to use my brakes more (flipping to low regen) and this continues to happen and get...

Model 3 Tires, Tire Sizes, Types, make / model recommendations, tire discussions, etc

I guess just how you found them so far. I rarely see them in anyones comparisons but based on the searching I have done, they seem to be one of the highest rated tires.

Anyone have experience with these tires? CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 PLUS Based on my searching and comparison of ratings on tire rack, they seem to be the most suitable for my use-case. Looking for Spring, summer, fall use (I have a separate winter tire set). Looking for good...

Question about brakes on Model 3

Ah ok. Yes yearly as per Tesla but as I understand it, that only removes rust/lubricates the pins and does nothing for the rotors. Ok well it sounds like it’s a fairly common problem. The lip I find weird as I haven’t had this on any previous cars. Yes the brakes get used more but to your...

Question about brakes on Model 3

Hey all, I have done a ton of searching and found a few threads, but nothing has really answered my question around what I am seeing on my Model 3's brakes. Can anyone tell me why there is a rim and ridge forming around each of the rotors? Ignore the rust in the center portion of the rotor as...

    2019.8.3 Release Notes

    2019.8.3 Release Notes

Just got some update... I assume 2019.8.4 as I was on 2019.8.3. Failed twice. Opened a support chat and he pushed it again but so far nothing has showed up. Wonder which update has supercharger on route warm up.

Check this out... Updated info regarding getting the new AP ($2000) package downloaded onto your car | Tesla Looks like they are having logistics issues telling engineering who purchased the new AP packages. 2019.5.15 is indeed required though so hopefully soon!

    Canada Supercharging Rates Just Increased...

Sorry but who's C350 is getting 7l/100km? Is this an actual reading as the 2019 C350 says 7.3 – 14.0 L/100km. I know from experience that my 2018 A4 (I believe a similar car based on engine size) was getting on average 10-11 L/100km. Using 10L for reference, that's $31.75 for 250km.

Who has lost regen with winter tires?

so just an update. Had the TPMS reset prompt and set the rims to the new 18" size. Right after doing this I started noticing the regen issue. Going to try calling Tesla later today.

Who has lost regen with winter tires?

Just wanted to chime in here and say that I switched to 18" OEM aero wheels with Xice Xi3 tires and Tesla TPMS sensors without issue. Had a few dots after leaving the tire shop but within a few minutes I had full regen again.

    Winter tire advice

I called Kal tire and got a price on the R3's. I am going to be stopping by this week to reserve them. Decided to just move forward and go with them. Based on everything I am reading, none of the tires discussed here are "bad" per-say.

    Phone call echo on 32.6

Hey guys, Is anyone still having the phone call echoing issue on 32.6 or higher? It seems like that issue has resurfaced and is very bad for anyone I call. Any ideas on a fix? I have been told it was my Apple Watch in the past but tried turning airplane mode on with no luck. Thanks

    Winter tire advice

I took a look at the Pilots but they don’t make them in an 18” wheel size for the model 3 so that’s unfortunate.
  39. D

    Winter tire advice

Yes but I typically am someone who goes out before the roads are plowed. I assume the R3’s are more towards snow?

    Winter tire advice

I think after seeing the responses and doing some further reading I am going to go with the Nokian R3's. I keep hearing very good things about them and don't think I will be going wrong by getting them.
  43. D

    Winter tire advice

I just placed an order for the 18" aero wheels from my local Tesla SC along with the TPMS sensors. No idea on timing but wheels were $250 each and TPMS are 89 each Canadian. I opted not to get the aero wheel covers and instead to get the aero wheel caps.
  44. D

    Winter tire advice

No specific reason but now that you mention it, they are right in between the Continentals and R3’s... I can add them into the vote. EDIT - scratch that... don’t think I can edit the poll.

    Winter tire advice

Hey guys, Looking for some advice on winter tires for my model 3. So far I am trying to choose between the Continental WinterContact SI tires or the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3’s. I keep hearing good things about the R3’s but based on consumers reports, they aren’t as good as the Continentals...

Thinking about tinting the windows but leaving out the rear panel.

I ended up tinting the side windows with 35% and leaving the back alone. Honestly the stock tint is more than enough and the back being clear does not bother me at all.

    Model 3 Tires

I think I am going to buy the 18" Rims from Tesla as well as the TPMS's and then buy Continental WinterContact SI. Not really happy with the tires Tesla will be offering and I tried to call also and they don't know if something else will be offered.

Ontario EV Rebates Cancelled July 11, 2018

Honestly I would rather not as there are lots of trolls on the internet. What I have is still not a basis for getting the rebate if the MTO decides they want to refuse it. You are literally going to need to take a chance like I am doing in this situation.
