VIN differentiation for Digit 8 occurs when there's a physical drivetrain difference. In the case of P, there's arguably none.

The Model 3 P doesn’t have a designation for performance in the VIN, it’s just the dual motor “B.” Double edged sword, since insurance companies won’t ever know which one you got!

Wow, just received a call to schedule delivery, confirmed date is 9/24 in Bellevue.

Backdoor edit URL stopped working for me about two days ago, so looks like things are moving along nicely. Last I read, it means that the Tesla Factory has recognized the order and the car is in active production.
