It appears as if Tesla is trying to rush the US orders for the rest of the month. I hope to hear from them near the end of March/ beginning of April.

It seems to be the same with Performance 3s. They don't have any excess inventory of 2019 models, only 2018 ones.

Does anyone know if Canadian Deliveries happen closer to the end of the quarter than US deliveries? I've heard some people with same configurations getting matched in the US in these past weeks. Have Canadian vehicles historically been sent for later part of the month?

For me personally, if I don't knew what's happened in those 2000 miles I'm not sure if I would jump on it. But, it's a very individual decision and you may feel differently.

When you get contacted by a delivery advisor, take a look at the MVPA attached to your account and check the model year. Then tell your DA you want a 2019 model if that's not already in place.

There is no one correct or incorrect reason for wanting a 2019 model, so theres no need to ''argue' about this. It is absolutely true that the model year affects resale value and if that's a reason to wait, and you're willing to wait, it's fine. For me personally, it's about build quality...

Unfortunate experience so far. I hope it resolves itself, I know how it feels. Tesla messed up my profile pretty bad that I've been waiting for 8+ months after placing an order. So, what's a few more weeks :P

My DA said that the delivery estimator updating was new to them as well. But that he would say 4-6 weeks to delivery. I'm hoping it's sooner, but I heard that US production is separate from Canada production, can anyone confirm the validity of that?

As Dangaroo said, you just need to tell your DA that you want a 2019 model. For my case, my DA made a note in the system to make sure it gets matched to a 2019 model next time. My build is a Blue Model 3 Performance Black Interior.

It is a bit annoying to be seeing people who ordered way later than you get their dates first. Even if we are all happy for them as a community, I can't really help what Tesla is thinking.
