Felt tape moslty fixed my wind noise issue on passenger side. I took multiple service center trips and just about lost my mind, and then eventually narrowed down the sounds and used a bunch of felt tape and it really helped.

I bolstered the inside seal with foam adhesive strips and it cut my issue down by 50-65%. I don’t think about it as much anymore. Sort of blends in too so it’s not an eyesore.

Yeah, so for my car, the top was OK. It was a vertical seal on the inside towards the bottom of the window where it meets against the door frame. It was not having pressure against the window up to nearly 8 inches and they reduce that down to 2 inches and I would say to fix my problem by 75%.

I’m going to try to stuff some material in there (foam or whatever) and see on my next drive if it makes a difference before I try to make a longer term fix.

Hmm… they “should” be able to fix that gap I’d hope. Mine isn’t as visible but I sure hear the wind at that same area. I wonder if wind deflectors would help.

Exact same problem I have been to the service center twice and they have not been able to do anything for me. Have you been able to figure anything out on your own?

I have wind noise in both front windows in the back corner when I get over around 30 mph. It starts to get irritating . I’ve been to the service center twice and they have not been able to see anything wrong with the car but yet the wind noise is there. I have not tried any of these online kits...

I had a lot of problems in 2018 and they bent over backwards to make them right. We’ll see how it goes this time but they usually are pretty good about fixing the problems and being patient in my exp.

I had that strange beeping when I accelerated driving at home the first day I picked it up it seems to have gone away after I got a software update I have no idea what it was but I had the same thing going on.

I am interested if anybody has info on an installer in Seattle

For tires… Do you guys carry one of those rubber cement patch kits along with a 12v inflator or is there a better solution?

Seems road noise to me. I’ll schedule an appointment for them to check it out.

A couple of weeks in… no major issues and happy with the car. I fixed a bunch of scuffs and otherwise things are good. One issue though is it seems pretty noisy in the cabin, esp at higher speeds. Feels like I’m “on the road” and not quieter than my 2018. I don’t have rattles or vibrations...

In 2018 I got a great quote but seems now they don’t want to be in that biz and it was horrid this time. So I dumped at Carmax down the street for a much better deal.

I did the override on the screen and on the actual door button, I forgot which one worked but eventually i fumbled around and was able to lock it in. I know sometimes it just doesn‘t do what it should despite trying these things too.

I had the same issue and I couldn’t physically override in the garage but when I pulled just outside of the garage and opened them fully I got the message “open fully at this location” and that tricked it into opening fully 10 feet back in the garage when I tried again. Not sure if you tried...

Speaking of tires I was thinking it would be nice to have a whole extra rim and tire for a spare if you have bad rim rash and you wanna take your time getting the other tire fixed or if you just need a spare. Any idea how to go about doing that seems difficult to get one?

Yeah the door open button in the rear seat is what I have been doing and it just doesn’t go fully open. Any other ideas how to trick it to open fully?

I’m having issues in my garage where it opens just a little bit and then when I physically hold the door button it opens a little bit more but it won’t go all the way. My previous model X had no problem so there’s plenty of room in the garage. The touchscreen can override it I need to try that next?

In my 2018 X I struggled with the poor visibility bc of the small rear view mirror and over the shoulder blind spot issues being worse than other vehicles. Is that any better with the new one? Better blind spot detection?

I think it’s a great look the lighter colors make the car seem bigger inside too.
