Mine reached out to me next day after the Toronto DA told me I had a VIN. You can also call the local store and ask for a DA and they can look up your order. It is open space but they make sure your car is wiped clean before you take delivery. Easier to see if there were any defects.

You mean the DA from Toronto or the Local store DA? Both were pretty responsive but my local store DA was much more, probably because the car was already in transit.

When I wasn't assigned a VIN yet, I contacted support and told them the story how someone with later order date, non-owner, same configuration, and location got assigned a VIN and delivery date. 2 days later i got my VIN, not sure if it was a coincidence or if they actually did something about it.

Just got a call from local store and my appointment got rescheduled for 9/4. Car went in transit on 8/28 and will be arriving in Vancouver on 8/31.

Almost $160,000 of funds dispersed or moved to reserved in last 24 hours. At this rate, potentially only 19 more days the funds will be left. This can be even less as I suspect more funds will be moved per day as September rolls around because of dealerships pushing for Q3 results.

Try this www.tesla.com/teslaaccount/edit-design/RNXXXXXXXX and replace X with your number. If it directs you to your account page then you have a VIN assigned. If it takes you to your config then order is not ready yet. Hopefully you can get it soon! I didn't know the performance version...

Haha feel the same way. More so that they are not providing any priority to customers that placed reservation/order first. Don't want to sound entitled but if someone who reserves and orders after me gets the CEV rebate, then I would be super choked. $5000 may not mean much in the grand scheme...

I think they have to do the process as the customer would not be willing to pay extra $5K when there are still funds available for them and Tesla would not just take $5K off of the invoice without some sort of reimbursement. CEV also indicates that responsibility must be on the dealer.

Reserved funds depletion is for vehicle delivered. When it goes from available to reserved, that is when VIN's are assigned. When the car is delivered, it will go from reserved to dispersed.

When I called the store, they said the funds will be moved from available to reserved on the CEV site once the VIN are assigned. I have not seen the available funds moved over to reserved but they could be delayed on that.

I doubt they were all model 3's. CEV available funds only dropped around ~$75K from early yesterday until now. If it was 80 VIN then it should have drop $400K for Tesla alone.

I personally don't think CEV reservation the rep quoted is true because the site says roughly $5M reserved but I would anticipate all of it to be reserved by now unless there aren't as many reservation in BC as I thought there would be
