Your destination charge won’t be waived though, even if you pick it up in California. That’s a standard charge for people picking up the car anywhere, even if you pick it up in Fremont.

I don’t think your VIN will change. Several people have reported (it happened to me too) that the VIN temporarily disappeared from the account page whenever a delivery date had to be changed. My VIN eventually came back and it was the same.

I placed mine on June 30, but updated my order (color and wheel change) on July 1. Got car yesterday. Pretty sure some others who placed in July have received their cars. Not sure about August though.

My VIN disappeared temporarily when they rescheduled my delivery date from 8/17 to 8/23. It came back later and was the same VIN I've had since the beginning when I received my MVPA. I wouldn't worry about it.

Got a call from North Houston service center earlier today—my car is ready! Passed PDI and detailed, washed, and temporary tags already on the car. Could pick it up anytime, but reminded them that I’m out of town till Wednesday night so confirmed my delivery appointment for Thursday 8/23!

It's not the ISA who signs it. Mine was signed by Tesla 4 days after I signed it. But my credit union didn't need a signed MVPA, they funded as soon as I sent them the unsigned one, so I wasn't really pressing for them to get it signed. I think if you let your ISA know you need it to be signed...

That's great--they seem to have fixed their MVPA delay issues. Guess the letter of guarantee is something that's CU dependent...my CU never asked for one, they sent the payment the same day I sent them the MVPA.

I hope they fixed their MVPA issues. A lot of us (myself included) waited 2 weeks for the MVPA after all details were finalized with the IDA.
