Sounds like they still match non-Tesla trade-ins. Some more differences: New car doesn't have the rainbow effect on the glass roof panels when they get wet. New car didn't come with cables for phone charging. They let me take the ones out of my old car though.

I bought a sheet of white vinyl tonight. I'll be cutting some with my vinyl cutter soon.

So, the green is too much (and the camera didn't pick it up that well), but the white looks MUCH nicer than I expected.

I only even considered it when they announced that you'd get the new computer for "free" when released. I think we'll see that long before actual FSD. Ended up not ordering it.

It has a cutout for the loop used to pull up the recessed trunk area. It's also fairly flexible. No issue getting into the recessed area.

I usually order from here DipYourCar - World Famous Peelable Auto Paint or Amazon. I prefer Amazon if they have the color I want since I can usually get it in 2 days with Prime.

If I was doing my own, I'd look at 3M Di-Noc. They have a TON of different patterns and colors. When I did some stuff to my CTS-V, I was able to get free samples (well, I paid for shipping) of it from vendors who were selling it, so that may be worth looking into if you are undecided between...

In the process of painting mine Blaze Green (plastidip), which requires a base coat. So right now they're white. I'll post up a pic of the white (on and off the car) when I get a chance, and a pic of them in Blaze Green, which is basically neon green, when they're done.

I didn't get a response. I called a couple days after to make sure it was received (it was). They said that mobile service would be taking care of my turn signal issue, but that they had changed how they were dealing with body shop issues and that the body shop they were using was backed up...

I have the Tesla kit on my car, but didn't even think of checking the Amazon options for lug nut covers. They have all different colors, glow in the dark ones, and all sorts of fun stuff. May have to order a couple of different kinds.

Called the service center and they said that they've recently changed how they are doing these. They're sending them to a body shop, and they're backed up about a month. So, it's going to be a while for me.

This car was much louder, but I enjoy driving my Model 3 more.
