I currently own one. I bought a third party warranty when the oem one ended. Have not had any major issues or complaints. But it seems that everyone has different experiences. So just one data point for you.

I have a 2018 X and it does not have the raven motor. It also came with the older hw but I bought the FSD sw so the upgrade was free. They should be able to tell you if the car has these or not.

This happened to my model s last year. Ended up being a bad sensor under the dash. Mobile service fixed it. They diagnosed it remotely.

I think you should get it checked. I live in central Florida and it doesn’t take too long. You don’t say how long it takes but my experience has been that it’s about the same as any other car.

Where did you purchase the filter?

My 5 month old Model S with just over 1500 miles had a bad sensor in the cabin. Took a few weeks to get the part but was able to get it fixed via mobile service. Fortunately not driving much these days. Works great now.

If my service center was closer I'd probably be willing to have them do it but it is 1.5 hours away and with the current covid situation they aren't letting you wait. And if I can't wait I have no where else to go to wait because of the covid situation.... I've seen the videos of how to replace...

I'm a bit confused regarding the air filters on the X (and S). I have the HEPA filter (located in the frunk) but I have seen some info regarding a cabin air filter as well. However, some info I have seen indicates that models with the HEPA filters in the frunk do not have the cabin air filter...

I don’t think so. I have a late 2018 MX, 2.5 hw that has the yellow border. Just waiting until I can get the upgrade to have it fixed.

This is interesting. I just took delivery of a 2020 model S and it is on 2019.35.108; car says it is up to date. I also have a 2018 X and it is on 2020.8.1. I'll try the app procedure.

I suspect you are talking about the rocker panel parts. https://epc.teslamotors.com/#/systemGroups/66249 The "bolt" you may be referring to is item 11 on the parts list. It is a plastic rivet.

Is it really a bolt? Sounds like you are describing one of the plastic rivets that hold the plastic trim between the battery case and the outside edge of the car. Can you post a picture of the spot you are describing?
