Do we need to make a configuration change for the tail light as well? If yes, what command should be used for the tail light config change? Also, if we do not want to change the tail light, is the command "enter command gw-diag SET_CONFIG_DATA 00 28 2" appropriate just for the global/matrix...

So on the 2021 refresh sounds like we require someone willing to implement those configuration changes with the toolbox access ? How challenging is it going to be to find someone in bayarea who is say willing to do that? or do we have some place where we can get this done ?

I know in the past some of the Rubber Seal was failing on the Model X builds. And you have to change the entire glass assembly on the falcon door roof. that rubber seal was failing because of poor part designed as it was getting beaten down by UV prematurely. $1.5 to 2k for that fix. You will...

Yeah likely it wont be anytime soon. We be lucky if we start getting this by end of next year. Hopefully it be sooner :) I know they did the PWS retrofit too for some of the vehicle which had the cable

Some of the retrofits they did fine but this one I am not sure either. I also have a 2018 Model 3 When it came brand new had the 2.5 HW, I was able to get a HW3.0 upgrade on that.. Now not sure if being in CA made a difference.

Now If, I remember this correctly the car with 8gb Ram 2021 S/X Refresh also has 128gb on board storage VS 256gb storage which was with16g ram. when the retrofit does happen will that be upgraded as well to 256G for onboard storage ?
