I wouldn't be so sure. At least on this screen (Parked/Charging), there are multiple pages to swipe through. If you look closely, you can see the page markers just under the widgets and above the climate controls.

We're clearly looking at the Parked/Charging state UI here. I suspect the driving state will be more akin to what we currently see with modifications.

It feels like there was a major reset internally following the holiday update, perhaps spurred on by the negative feedback around UI changes. This has been the quietest period for software updates I can recall in the last 2-3 years.

Not sure if it's related or not, but I had a situation a week or two ago that sounds similar. I went to type in a destination and the entire screen crashed out to black for a few minutes. Thumbscroller reset worked, but only after a few minutes. Sounds like there's a bug. Hopefully it's resolved...

Picked up my 84XXX Model Y on Monday, same deal here with the driver's side mirror. I listed it in the service appointment alongside a few other minor items.

It’s strange because climate was turned on and I still could not activate the seat warmers. They reappeared in the app only after activating them from inside the car.

Both the Model 3 and Y share the same 113.8 in wheelbase. Elon confirmed that they share ~75% of the same parts. Commenters are correct when they describe the Model Y as an evolution of the Model 3. The ride will be very similar as a result.

Re: Auto Dimming Mirrors - Watched Raj’s video this morning. He briefly showed the drivers side mirror to illustrate that it is larger than a Model 3 mirror. It appeared to lack the gold striping indicative of dimming. Bummer.
