All parts were professionally installed/removed by Griffin Motorwerk in Berkeley, CA I've only put about 2100 miles on the parts so they're in great shape and made driving...

    Sold FS: 20" Vossen HF3 - Satin Grey - Model Y

Hello! Looking to sell my set of 20" Vossen HF3 in a satin grey powder coat (came bare from Vossen) for the Model Y - wheels only. These are staggered: 20x9.5J ET35 20x10.5J ET42 I had them on 255/40R20 and 275/40R20. The front two wheels are scratch and curb rash free. One of the back...

Who's getting the normal steering wheel?

My car was in the shop for a bunch of suspension part replacement and they did the wheel replacement with it - originally had mobile service. Sadly the left side of my wheel’s lights don’t turn on and there’s no haptics. All the techs left when I picked up the car so going back tomorrow to get...

    Model S Refresh Mud/Splash Guards

Took like 10 minutes for the fronts, was super easy. Mostly just have to clean everything well. I like that I didn’t have to fight to get the bottom push pin clip out like on the oem flaps
  16. pistachioy

    Model S Refresh Mud/Splash Guards

Mold hard abs plastic still protrudes down which concerns me but glad it’s been working out for you. I think if you have to mod the oem part, it’s flawed and badly designed.

    Model S Refresh Mud/Splash Guards

I was more worried about it damaging the trim/body because of the oem ones. Mine broke when on high setting over normal speed bumps, the car would’ve been fine on medium over those speed bumps. The oem ones are just terribly designed

    Model S Refresh Mud/Splash Guards

I just installed the front rally armor ones and prefer them over the Tesla ones - caveat being it's not a look everyone can agree with. Wish they didn't have the logo but I'll take it over having to replace the push in clips for the oem Tesla flaps (broke 3 times going over speed bumps) and...

Steam integration for Model S built after Feb 2022 only?

Can confirm you’ll need the 16gb. Have a long range delivered in dec 2021 and a plaid delivered in sept 2021 where both just got the 2022.45.25.3 update and no steam. It’s not in the release notes either.

FS: Signature Wheel SV104 20x10 ET34 Brushed Titanium for Model S Plaid/Refresh SF Bay Area

Oh thanks, good to know! I checked normal shippers the prices were ridiculous. But I have some local people interested so I’ll see if those go through when I’m back in town first.

FS: Signature Wheel SV104 20x10 ET34 Brushed Titanium for Model S Plaid/Refresh SF Bay Area

Would only work if it was just the wheels. With tires it's like 40% larger and over double the weight

FS: Signature Wheel SV104 20x10 ET34 Brushed Titanium for Model S Plaid/Refresh SF Bay Area

FS: Signature Wheel SV104 20x10 ET34 Brushed Titanium for Model S Plaid/Refresh SF Bay Area

Yea I agree it would be easier, but also don’t want to hide or cover up the fact that they had curb rash. Priced so if a buyer wanted to get them repaired they could. Or just drive them a bit, get more curb rashes and then repair later on haha. Curb rashes aren’t super obnoxious because of the...

FS: Signature Wheel SV104 20x10 ET34 Brushed Titanium for Model S Plaid/Refresh SF Bay Area

Selling my Signature Wheels SV104 Brushed Titanium 20x10 ET34 with about 4000 miles on them. 3 of them have curb rash - I would rate them pretty bad to be honest, but posted as many photos as possible. No warping or dents, honestly the plaid is driven less aggressively than my Model Y and only...

Major Yoke concerns from Consumer Reports initial review

A couple days of mixed driving, and I’ve concluded for myself it’s fine. All turning feels the same: 3 point, u-turn, wide and narrow left/rights. I enjoy resting my hands on top of it during autopilot, more comfortable than a traditional wheel. I wish it wasn’t so wide. Turn signals are fine...

Wiki Mega-consolidated delivery quality issues thread and checklist

Just adding my pick up experience. Car was absolutely filthy when I came, it rained the night before and it looked like they dumped a bucket of mud on the car. They mostly cleaned it after 2 hours but it was an offsite pick up location in SoCal so they only had spray bottles and microfiber...
