    Pirelli P7 A/S Plus 3 - Noise & efficiency coming from Uberturbines

Some bad news with this update, but I think it's still relevant. I reported my initial results after a lot of long distance driving. Since 2022 Summer, I've been doing a lot less trips and it's been mostly local driving commuting and some weekend nearby errands. As a result the mileage has...

    The definitive phone key thread...

I think this may be Android versino dependent, but I think Android 13 doesn't really require apps to display a persistent notification anymore. when you swipe down the notification bar fully where it shows the Quick Settings tiles, I can see X apps active:

    The definitive phone key thread...

Is it only a recent change that we can "swipe" away the Android notification? I always thought this was a persistent notification but I freaked out when I swiped it away the other day. Obviously I can relaunch the app, but I'm surprised it allowed me to do that. I thought the idea of a...

    Pirelli P7 A/S Plus 3 - Noise & efficiency coming from Uberturbines

I installed these (P7 AS Plus 3) and replaced my OEM ProContacts (19"). Personally I was looking for a few things--better performance overall but not at the cost of efficiency. Michelin tires are really nice but CrossClimate2s have some reports of harsh reductions in efficiency and with 19"...

thoughts on Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect for Model 3?

CrossClimate2s have a 60k warranty though compared to 50k. I'd think a touring tire would last longer than the P Zero which is more in the performance tire category so the rating does make sense to me. With that said yeah I've heard about the loss in driving efficiency, but this is probably...

thoughts on Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect for Model 3?

Anyone compare these to AS Plus 3s? Because this tire seems more like a P Zero except specialized for EVs (UHP) whereas AS Plus 3 is more of a touring tire (70k mile warranty). I know previously AS Plus 3s got really high ratings and are basically the top tire against CrossClimate 2s. I feel...

    Jeda V4 Wireless Charger

October 31, 2021: Order placed Jan 3rd: Finally received product after months of poor communication Jan 13th: Requested RMA Mar 9th: After weeks of slow response, and trying to offer an exchange and flat out not reading any of my requests (I wanted to return for a refund), they finally granted...

    Jeda V4 Wireless Charger

The Pixel 6 Pro is already very tall. There's little Y clearance to move it up and down in the portrait orientation. Perhaps Pixel 4 or 5 users (smaller phones) can try.

Nomad Wireless Charger for Tesla Model 3

Selling a used Nomad Wireless Charger for Tesla Model 3. I used this for the past 3 years to charge my phone, and so it has some light scuff marks, but other than that it is fully functioning. 2x USB-A ports and I have included a USB-A port splitter if you would like (for use with USB sticks...

    Will electricity stay cheap forever?

22 cents per kWh is on the low end of what most CA residents pay. The EV plans can be challenging because regular power is SO expensive with it. Most solar users and average customers are on TOU-C which is easily into the 30 cent range and into the 40 cent range in the summer per kWh. I can...

    Jeda V4 Wireless Charger

I ordered a Taptes and got that working for my Pixel 6 Pro w/ Google case. The Taptes charges on both sides and horizontally--something the Jeda V4 fails to do. I emailed Jeda right afterward, linked to this Youtube video too and they offered a replacement (sounds the same as your story with...

    Jeda V4 Wireless Charger

Holy crap I wish I read these comments here. I put in an order around October when my Pixel 6 Pro shipped. Just like the video above, it only charges on the ight side, which I guess is better than not being able to fit at all in my Nomad charger, but still useless. I'm going to request a refund...

Continental PureContact LS vs Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus II

Sorry I get annoyed with these kinds of posts. If you had it before, it takes a few seconds or minutes at most to help people out. I did my own searching and didn't find a test with the Cinturato P7 AS Plus IIs in the fuel economy test. Here's their review of the tire against others...

[V9] How to Format USB into 2 Partitions for DashCam and Music [Windows]

Huh... I had been following this guide for years but did not realize we can do exFAT now. With exFAT, do we simply create 2 partitions in Windows Disk Management? Seems to me all this extra stuff is unnecessary then?

MASTER THREAD: USB drives that work with Sentry and TeslaCam

Just want to update I got a Navak V2 and this works great now. I can play music and record Dashcam. I know the Samsung Fit Plus USB 3.1 isn't the fastest drive around, but it's better than most mini USB drives out there, but I do occasionally (like once a week maybe) get a slow speed error. I...

MASTER THREAD: USB drives that work with Sentry and TeslaCam

I'm in need of some help here. My setup is as follows: Nomad wireless charging pad using the splitter that caem along Samsung Fit Plus (USB 3.1): generally highly regarded, reasonable speeds for a small drive like this, etc. 2 partitions (music + camera) This setup worked great through all of...

[V9] How to Format USB into 2 Partitions for DashCam and Music [Windows]

Sure but it should recognize my MP3s at least right? So the fact that none are getting shown is a sign of concern. I can confirm both partitions are FAT32 (followed the instructions here)

[V9] How to Format USB into 2 Partitions for DashCam and Music [Windows]

Ok... so I followed the instructions here, made the two partitions. My Teslacam partition is definitely working, but somehow my car won't recognize any music on the other partition? Is it because I have too many subfolders? USB Drive \ Podcasts \ Podcast Title \ music files (MP3s or M4As)

    Model 3 Tint Thread

To follow up on my post, I went with 50% front, 20% rear. During the day it's fine, but at night 20% can be a bit dark when combined with an auto dimming mirror. Overall pretty satisfied though.

    Model 3 Tint Thread

The biggest factor about tint and how it looks is the angle of the photos. If the sun is behind you and you are looking at the car, even 20% will look light because light shines right through with such intensity. With the right angle even 50% can look dark. I'm almost thinking videos are a...

    Model 3 Tint Thread

I'm considering 20% on the rear side windows and the rear window, but I see above that people are saying it feels really dark in the tinted area of the rear to go to 20%. I hate having a line for a partial tint job, but at the same time I don't want the rear to be too dark.

    3M Crystalline - 20 or 40

I'm pretty settled on 60 on the front but for the rear I'm in between 20 and 40 still. 40 looks a bit too light (and maybe not enough contrast with the front), but 20 would be a tad dark. I'm thinking of mixing/matching brands and maybe finding a 30% tint for the rear side windows/back window...
