This is cool, but I sure hope there was more to their selection process than brand recognition! The new business director's quote makes it sound like they didn't do any research or comparisons. Hopefully everything proves to be reliable and the savings pan out over time.

Yikes! I can just imagine that thing making a panic stop behind me on the freeway and the load of boards ramming through my back window. Electric (or at least E-REV) pickups seems inevitable, but that design doesn't seem safe at all.
