The charger they were at did not have the CCS charger for Model 3 so wouldn't have charged the car. Hopefully Tesla will upgrade all the chargers there soon so that we can be helpful in the future!

It will only work when connected to WiFi if you don't have premium connectivity. I would assume that you could possibly set your phone up as a WiFi hotspot though and then it should work when driving if you don't mind using your phone data?

I don't think there is an issue - I purchased a secondhand Model S without any concerns at all. Currently there is probably a bit more of an incentive to buy one through Tesla rather than a Private Sale to get the extra warranty but if the price is right anything will sell.

I got from Canberra to Tuggerah in my S70D bypassing both Goulburn and Sydney so I don't think you will have any problem getting to Goulburn in a 90D.

When I got my S last year the mobile connector only had the standard 10amp plug included. Other options are available at extra cost I believe if you have access to higher amp sockets or 3 phase sockets.
