Tesla does not give out a lot of info as to exactly where the manufacturing bottlenecks are. I think that the battery production has not kept of with the car. My guess is they came out with MR to allow for more car production. I think the LR-RWD will return when the battery production...

I have seen several posts that the vin # jump around. This is to confuse the production trackers. I ordered LR-RWD on 10/21 and got my vin this afternoon for delivery on 11/8. My vin is 102,0xx. Would like to know the mfg. date.
