Supercharger - Glasgow, DE - Corporate Blvd (dig ticket filed 3/4/24)

This Wawa location is brand new and pretty much guaranteed to have Tesla SC, if not now, then in future. It’s not very far away from I-95.
  2. A

    Supercharger - Hockessin, DE

Now that we have new 12 stall v3 in Wilmington, DE - Limestone Rd. which opened like 3 weeks ago, very slim chance this will become a reality.
  3. A

    Supercharger - Marshallton, DE

Pedestals have been installed and some of the other equipment is being installed.
  4. A

    Supercharger - Marshallton, DE

Confirmed that construction has started. Area has been fenced off and digging is going on. My guess is 8 stalls.
  5. A

    Supercharger - Marshallton, DE

I’ll check in due course since this is on my way. This Wawa is super busy from food and gas perspective and definitely has the space to accommodate atleast 8 stalls if not more.
  6. A

    Supercharger - Marshallton, DE

Doubt this will ever come to fruition. This location is not close to any major highways, but Tesla is always expanding their network outside of major highways.
  7. A

Supercharger - New Castle, DE - Airport Road

    Confirmed on Tesla app. 16 x 250kwh.
  8. A

Supercharger - New Castle, DE - Airport Road

Tesla is just ramping up SC’s in DE. This is a good location with access to I-95/295/495 although about couple of miles ride.
  9. A

    Supercharger - Kennett Square, PA

$0.26 is not bad for v3 SC.
  10. A

Supercharger - Rehoboth Beach, DE - Coastal Highway

That’s what like 3 SC’s within few miles?
  11. A

    Supercharger - Bridgewater, NJ

No wonder NJ is the so called armpit of America.
  12. A

Supercharger - New Castle, DE - New Castle Ave (Dig ticket filed 01/15/24)

This location will take atleast 9m-year to come up. Construction has not yet started. Great location right off I-95 and relieve stress off I-95 Delaware Travel Plaza v2 SC.
  13. A

    Supercharger - Bear, DE

8 stalls are up. Should be operational as soon as Wawa renovation is done.
  14. A

    Supercharger - Talleyville, DE

Seems Tesla is doing surveys on all Wawa locations in DE. Good place for SC, but doubt it‘ll happen due to Glen Mills and 2x Claymont SC is close proximity.
  15. A

Supercharger - New Castle, DE - New Castle Ave (Dig ticket filed 01/15/24)

Seems like Tesla is ordering surveys for more and more locations around I-295/95 in Delaware. Highly unlikely at this point in time. Maybe planning for future down the road.
  16. A

Supercharger - City of Newark, DE

Relatively new Wawa. Possible to have SC in this location considering the size, but again not very useful location to invest. The best part is that Honda and Toyota dealerships are very close.
  17. A

    Supercharger - Hockessin, DE

Extremely unlikely in this location. Even if they do like small 4 stall, it is not something that is any value add. This location has no wawa gas FYI.
  18. A

    Supercharger - Christiana, DE (unconfirmed)

This location is definitely a possibility but highly unlikely to be SC. This is seconds off I-95 Southbound exit and couple of minutes from I-95 northbound exit. If this is indeed SC, then it would definitely help alleviate congestion on I-95 Delaware plaza SC which is v2.
  19. A

    Supercharger - Reading, PA

About time. That whole Reading, PA area was dead zone for SC. Now this along with Hamburg, PA makes it more manageable in that part of PA.
  20. A

    Supercharger - New Castle, DE

See it active on Tesla navigation.
  21. A

    Supercharger - New Castle, DE

Among all the utilities in the country, I can tell ya that Delmarva Power is amazing to support EV charging infrastructure. Just look at all the SC times from start to finish in DE. Delmarva staff drive EV’s as well. Saw Mach E with Delmarva logo yesterday.
  22. A

    Supercharger - Middletown, DE

Sooner or later Newark will be upgraded to v3 or they will put another v3 around the area/exits. Newark is heavily used SC. I-95 all the way to NoVA/DC burbs is heavily covered with SC’s every 30-40 miles and plenty of other charging options. Delmarva power is really good compared to other...
  23. A

    Supercharger - Middletown, DE

Not an ideal location unless you intend to use US 301. It is far away from DE-1 and US-13.
  24. A

    Supercharger - Rehoboth Beach, DE

Unbelievable that 2nd smallest state in US has 6 SC’s and one more coming in Middletown, DE. Delmarva power + State of DE has friendly EV policies.
  25. A

    Supercharger - Westampton, NJ

Blame local utilities for not getting SC near KOP. Delmarva power has been great in Delaware and Maryland. Also applies to Southern Jersey area.
  26. A

Supercharger - Washington, DC (Market Street NE)

About time. Seriously this one took so long to be active.
  27. A

Supercharger - Claymont, DE - Philadelphia Pike

Shows on the nav now. 2 stalls still not operational out of total 8.
  28. A

Supercharger - Claymont, DE - Philadelphia Pike

Awesome. Not showing up on the nav or app yet, but eventually will show up once it’s fully functional. Will check it out later this week. Delmarva in DE has been super good in terms of electric utility doing their share of work for SC installs.
  29. A

    Supercharger - Glen Mills, PA

Good find. That’s Wawa opposite PF Chang’s on Route 1 and closer to intersection with Rt 202. Good location and very nice neighborhood. Good food and shopping options around.
  30. A

Supercharger - King George, VA - Owens Drive

That sounds about right. Used v3 few times and it’s definitely faster than v2 at lower SoC’s. Also it’s a myth that all stalls will be able to do 250kwh. I landed at Williamsport, PA SC around 5% SoC when 5/8 were full. I only got around 135kwh.
  31. A

    Supercharger - Rehoboth Beach, DE

Delmarva Power is far better than other surrounding utilities in the region when it comes to EV installation support infrastructure. Demarva Power is owned by the same parent company Exelon which also owns PECO/BG&E/Atlantic City Electric among others who are notoriously bad at EV installation...
  32. A

    Supercharger - Bear, DE

Wawa was remodeled long time back. Panda Express and Chipotle right there. Lot of food options. This location is odd one for SC, but nevertheless a good one for people from North of Delaware Memorial Bridge going to Delaware beach’s to Ocean City and Virginia Beach.
  33. A

    Supercharger - Hamburg, PA

Badly needed SC in Reading, PA area. About time.
  34. A

Supercharger - Claymont, DE - Philadelphia Pike

That is the existing one which has been in service since last 2 and half years. New one that is being built doesn’t show up in car navigation nor app yet. Claymont, DE Supercharger | Tesla
  35. A

Supercharger - Claymont, DE - Philadelphia Pike

Don’t see 2x Claymont SC in my app. I see Newark, Claymont, North East and Paulsboro.
  36. A

    Supercharger - Rehoboth Beach, DE

Seems Tesla is upgrading And adding v3 capacity. Both Claymont and Lewes SC getting additional V3 capacity. Let’s see what they do with Newark I-95 and Dover SC’s. There are new Wawa’s popping up in DE.
  37. A

Supercharger - Claymont, DE - Philadelphia Pike

This is quick. Hopefully Delmarva power is better than PECO.
  38. A

Supercharger - New Jersey Turnpike Rest Areas - Molly Pitcher & Joyce Kilmer

New SC’s are coming up in MD and NOVA area. Boston to DC I-95 corridor is covered so well irrespective.
  39. A

Supercharger - New Jersey Turnpike Rest Areas - Molly Pitcher & Joyce Kilmer

It’s better to take I-295 to Delaware Memorial Bridge and vica-versa on Exit 4 of NJTP as there are chargers in Marlton V3 and Paulsboro v2 which are not too busy. Also possible to take small detour to Deptford and Maple Shade SC locations if one wants to be adventurous. I-295 is a wider road...
  40. A

    Supercharger - Clarksburg, NJ

Great location for peeps(if any) visiting Six Flags Safari. Hamilton and Robbinsville are nearby.
  41. A

    Service Center - Wilmington, DE

Nope and glad someone bought this point out. People from Northern MD, Southernmost NJ and from PA/DE border would benefit from this if they are doing some work on their dime with Tesla to save on taxes. But Devon, PA charges tax to DE customers lol. Just saying for the record.
  42. A

Supercharger - Claymont, DE - Philadelphia Pike

That’s right. Not sure what’s wrong with PECO.
  43. A

Supercharger - Claymont, DE - Philadelphia Pike

That’s right. Only the people who know it know it, that I-495 is wider by 1 lane for most part compared to I-95. Skip Wilmington office traffic, but that’s a moot point during Covid-19 times.
  44. A

Supercharger - Claymont, DE - Philadelphia Pike

Northern Delaware utility for most part electric distribution is Delmarva Power(Exelon) not PECO.
  45. A

Supercharger - Claymont, DE - Philadelphia Pike

Such a weird location. I guess access from I-495 is better than I-95. Maybe nav will redirect to I-495 which is parallel to I-95 on busy weekdays to beat Wilmington downtown office traffic.
  46. A

    Supercharger - Deptford NJ

I guess utility found worker to turn switch on. One step at a time.
  47. A

    Supercharger - Elizabeth, NJ

Visiting EWR next week. Ridiculously long wait for this one just to be switched on. NJ has one of the most notorious public utility staff.
  48. A

    Supercharger - Lancaster, PA

The power of IBEW. You shall be served power when our one of many breaks are over
  49. A

    Supercharger - Elizabeth, NJ

Yes sorry I meant Maple Shade. Even Deptford SC has been ready since past few months and nobody has turned on the power. Some of the utility companies around South Jersey and Philadelphia suck.
