Vendor Volk Racing / Gram Lights / ADVAN Racing Wheels - Authorized Dealer

With ski season pretty much over, I finally had time to get the new Rays Gramlights 57DR (Semi-gloss black) wheels put on today. Went with 19x9.5 ET35 with 265/35/19 Falken 460AS tires. Fitment is perfect for me and these tires are pretty quiet and smooth. Thanks again Danny for the excellent...

Pic request: 245/40/19 or 265/35/19 on Rays gramlights 57DR

Very nice, thank you for sharing these. Thanks for the reply. I decided to go with 265/35 instead of 245/40 because I was worried about the slight stretch and sounds like most people go with 265's for these Rays wheels. Went with Falken 460AS tires and they are pretty quiet and smooth so far.

Pic request: 245/40/19 or 265/35/19 on Rays gramlights 57DR

If anyone has any wheel with 245/40/19 tires, it would be helpful to see as well. Does not need to be rays gramlights.

Pic request: 245/40/19 or 265/35/19 on Rays gramlights 57DR

Hi all, I have a new set of Rays gramlights 57DR in 19x9.5 ET35 for my 2018 Model 3 LR AWD which is lowered just under 1" on Tein flex Z coilovers. Winter season is just about over so I am now looking for tires. Most likely will stick with all seasons and considering either the Falken 460 AS...

    Tein flex Z awd

Thanks for the clarification. I've been playing around with the settings. 10 Front/12 Rear: This was what was set by the shop. Comfortable but bit floaty and some bounce 8 Front/12 Rear: Felt bit too stiff in front but rear still have some bounce 6 Front/8 Rear: Was bit too stiff and harsh 8...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Oh ok nice. I went with 19x9.5 with ET35. Which shop do you use to get your tires mounted? I heard great things about WD Garage so may give them a try.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Looks amazing! What offset are you running and what suspension do you have? I also recently picked up a set of 19" 57DR's that I will mount as soon as ski season is over. Considering the falken 460 AS tires as well.

    Tein flex Z awd

When you say rear is set at the middle setting, is this 16 clicks from full stiff (turn knob all the way to the right until it stops then turn left 16 clicks? And you say front almost at full soft, does this mean 32 clicks from full stiff? What are your front and rear dampening click settings?

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

Its weird but the spring binding noise I was experiencing is gone now. Ever since the weather has become colder like around end of november it stopped making the noises. I did not do anything to the Teins at all either just normal driving. It have been raining on and off and I did drive in...

Tein Flex Z front shock mount

i believe i am having this exact same issue now. Whenever i am at slower speed like turning into my complex or turning left over a speed bump, i am hearing some binding like sounds from front driver side. doesn’t happen on the right side. This started happening about 1.5 months after getting...

Expired Yokohama Advan A052 275/40/18 tires [Expired]

Nope, I have not. I was told these are mainly track use tires so I dont want to use them and rather have someone put them to good use. But I heard they can be used for regular street driving but it will just wear out quickly.

If anyone is interested in Yokohama A052 in 275/40/18's with 5/32 tread remaining, please DM me. The wheels I just bought have these tires and I have no plans to do any tracking and need regular street tires.

    Tein EnduraPro Plus - Review

For me, 6/8 was a little bit too stiff and rough, so I set it to 8/8 and I think its perfect now. You dont need to remove anything to adjust the rear, not even the wheel. All you need is a floor jack with puck inserted and jack up car high enough, you'll see how easy it is once you start...

    Tein EnduraPro Plus - Review

Not sure if the tein flex z are the same for the enduro pro plus, but I was able to adjust the rear dampers by jacking up car high enough for the rear wheel to droop down enough and have access to the black rubber buttons to adjust.

    Tein EnduraPro Plus - Review

Tried 6/8 for the past few weeks and the ride became a lot more stiffer. It wasn't too bad but became uncomfortable so I set it to be 8/8 for front and rear and I think this is the sweet spot for me and best overall comfortability.

    Tein EnduraPro Plus - Review

I was also able to adjust the rear dampers by jacking up car high enough for the wheel to droop down and have access to the black rubber buttons to adjust. I set it to 10. So now I have Front 8 clicks and Rear 10 clicks. Drove it to work the past 2 days and the ride is much better from first...

    Tein EnduraPro Plus - Review

I was able to get to the front dampers by just removing 1 frunk bolt, vent cover, and the bolt holding the tub to the windshield fluid resevoir. Lifted up both sides at the corners and could reach underneath the housing with my hand enough to adjust the knob . I set the front to 8 clicks and...

    Tein EnduraPro Plus - Review

By "10/12 clicks", i believe the installer meant that he set it to be counterclockwise 6 clicks in the front, so that would mean 16-6 = 10. And then counterclockwise 4 clicks for the rear, so that would mean 16-4 = 12. But then the next day after, he said he set the front to be stiffer than...

Should I lower it or leave it?

previous pics were not very clear. here are a few with more sun and different angles to see the drop better. Next thing I am planning to do is to get a 18" wheel squared setup with meatier tires and maybe that will help with the ride comfort.

    Tein EnduraPro Plus - Review

I just had tein flex z installed on my model 3 and the installer set it to 10 front/12 rear. Car is lowered to 355mm all around. I requested for a subtle drop but he said this was the best drop that could be done. The ride is pretty smooth on local streets and highway is pretty comfortable as...

Should I lower it or leave it?

I didn't know this about the MPP's, as I was hoping for subtle drop. Maybe I should've gotten the MPP non adjustables which were on sale recently. Teins were more affordable and they are actually pretty comfortable on the regular street and freeway so far. I think if it was 1/2" higher or so...

Should I lower it or leave it?

All the parts thru zevcentric and installation. Here's the website you can see the pricing easier: Model 3 Yes, decided to match the body color for the handles instead of black as how the new cars have them. I think it looks cleaner with it being white. I am also thinking about removing the...

Should I lower it or leave it?

Decided to go with Tein Flex Z, along with mpp rear camber arms, mpp front lower control arm bearings, whiteline compliance arm bushings, and mpp brake master cylinder brace. The ride quality is now super amazing and I can't believe how comfortable it is even now being lowered. Ride height is...

Should I lower it or leave it?

Yeah, for ski trips, I've been taking our MDX instead so can avoid needing to charge up on the way or worrying about range etc. I never actually drive tesla up if its snowing or has a lot of snow on the roads, usually only when its clear sunny days and roads are plowed well etc.
  33. B

Should I lower it or leave it?

Yeah, what I actually would like is just a very minimal up to 1" drop. Something that would be comparable to possibly the stock performance model. Mainly would like to close up the gap slightly to look better and then have a more comfortable ride. I'm a older guy so dont want it to be too low...

Should I lower it or leave it?

Thanks for the reply. I saw your build thread and your car looks very nice. But I was wondering when you said you are with your family a lot in your car, would all of those MPP components be necessary to have the best comfortable ride? Would just the MPP non adjustable coilovers be enough to...

Should I lower it or leave it?

I have a 18' stealth performance and looking to lower it now that it is out of warranty at 51k. I'd like to make my work commute to milpitas more comfortable. Its just a daily driver and I probably will not take it to the track. Wife occasionally drives it and we use the model 3 for ski trips...
