Mainly because it seems dumb to exit the car, then get back in to adjust the setting. If, after what I've done, the setting has not been retained, I'll do as you say for the next time.

I imagine you could get some squirm if you have directional winter tires and one of them is rotating the wrong way.

Update! I changed my order at TSportline from 18s to 19s - really helpful guy on the phone did it in just a few minutes. The wheels are supposed to ship out in a day or 2, which I'm hoping is reality. Might be able to drive the Model3 again soon!
