Had a chance to use the Supercharger over the weekend when I was in Peoria. Showed up in the phone app, but the car's navigation wouldn't allow me to set it as a destination yet to get pre-conditioning. Otherwise totally trouble free.

Its not where I would have picked for a Supercharger in Peoria, but that's really not bad. Just off War Memorial near the I-74 exit and relatively easy to get in and out of from the Interstate.

Supercharge.info had put a pin on their map early last year, but this is the first that Tesla have acknowledged it.

Didn't get a chance to stop in Waterloo since I was catching a ride. Disappointing that it sounds like its been pushed off to next year. Infrastructure in this area is still really bad and Tesla really needs to do something about it. Even if its just discounts for the CHAdeMO adapter.

It just seems that at the current time penalizing ownership of EVs by going from $35 to $500 for two years creates the perverse outcome of people avoiding EVs. We're still very much in the phase where we need to be giving people an incentive to switch, and starting up higher fees on high...

There just aren't enough EVs on the road in Illinois for this to be a real problem yet. You'd get far more money to fix roads from requiring a higher registration fee for low mpg vehicles like trucks and SUVs.

It seems like they get them in batches that don't quite keep up with demand. Its probably good for the bottom line, but annoying if you realize you need something when they're between deliveries. Just got a new mobile charger a few weeks ago after they'd been out of stock.
