It was a faulty adapter plug that would not work at cold temps. I did an experiment with it and a friends adapter and had the 14-50 plug checked by an electrician. Definitely the plug adapter..

I think I’ll swing by after work tomorrow or ask the electrical team coming to install my wall connector. I just don’t want to have a faulty one in case I need to take a long road trip.

It worked briefly for me tonight but when I unplugged it to see again the glitch came back.. do you know if cold temps affect it.

I tried to retire and inspected it. Funny thing happened tonight tho. I tried it again and for a moment it worked then I unplugged it and replugged it and the glitch came back. Could cold temps possibly effect the chip in the adapter?
