Good question. I think it is more of a electrical buzz as with a florecent ballast. Just don’t get why it comes and goes at random. Sometimes fir a couple of hours and other times it goes on for 24 hours. Almost like it is programmed.

I just picked up my 2016 S 90D from a previous owner in LA. He said he had never heard the headlight buzzing and I didn’t hear it in LA either. However when I got further north, into sub zero temps this crazy light (drivers side) is buzzing it’s head off! It went quiet in the garage for 2 days...
