Got mine last week and absolutely love it on the model x. Expensive, sure but so were the car and the bikes. Seasucker is still an option, though less convenient on a taller car.

Put it in trailer mode, I believe that it gets rid of the beep from rear sensors. Not much you can do about the cameras though :) Absolutely love the Kuat Piston Pro X. Its expensive, but you get what you pay for.

A few on a hitch and a few on the roof? I know the Kuat hitch rack can be "extended" to hold up to 4 bikes!

Not True - Call them and demand the new panels, you can get them, but might have to shift to a new install day. They updated my order over the course of a week, got permitted, got the equipment in, and didn't even have to move my date!

That is correct, i have 24 of them in my backyard - They go on the roof tomorrow (The Telsa team had to come off the roof due to lighting today!)

The SeaSucker is a mix of hitch and trunk, depending on where you place it. Just got mine and love it soo far. That said, I am always nervous with the bike on the roof!
