Only 1 plug in use. Tesla ran diagnostics and says that my battery was at 20 degrees and suggested that I precondition next time. I was navigating to a supercharger for 30 minutes and the car says I was preconditioning, so not sure what’s really going on.

I am going to guess that Tesla knows that this is a problem but won’t admit it. I think rhe latest software does some kind of diagnostic check and turns off the cabin camera if it is causing problems.

Not new firmware - I enabled AP and apparently it turned it back on. Camera interference with GPS is a known issue on some vehicles.

Not really. They are 6mm hex head (not Torx) bolts from the factory but I don’t know what size socket you need. If your car doesn’t have the captive nuts then you need to use rivet nuts which reduces the bolt size to M5x20 and who knows what head people are buying.

I believe the issue with CarPlay is that your customers become Apple's customers - and Elon is not willing to give them that kind of control. Perhaps there is behind the scenes talk to put CarPlay in a window but Apple wants your map data desperately, so Elon would have to give up navigation...
