It only reengages IF ACC is still on (no break press). Any tap on the stalk will disable the reengagement until AP is enabled manually again.

Not sure what you mean by that but im bringing code I’ve been using in the OpenPilot Tesla branch since 2019 and just modifying to get the same experience. It’s running on my own hardware that was launched for S/X in 2020 and now is available for 3/Y as welll

Say hello to an FSD/AP alternative, Comma Openpilot; OSS vehicle autonomy

AP3 steers M3 via CAN messages. We already have full support for preAP, AP1, AP2+ on the pre 2021 MS/MX and soon M3/Y/Post2021 MX/MS (which now all use a similar set of CAN messages).

Will make one once I finalize code and have my hands on a test vehicle.

Yes. Code for M3 is still under development. Looking to get my hands on a M3/My for few days to finish it.

Say hello to an FSD/AP alternative, Comma Openpilot; OSS vehicle autonomy

I have an adapter ready to ship for AP2+ which would include M3. You need one of these Tinkla OBD-C Adapter for Tesla with AP2+ and then a comma 3, a black panda and two OBD-C extension cables (USB4 2m Extension Cable For Comma Two/Three).

My day has come “charge level reduced”

I have 8 years 135k miles and still get 244 miles at full charge. 85kw original battery.

Say hello to an FSD/AP alternative, Comma Openpilot; OSS vehicle autonomy

I have over 90k miles driven on OpenPilot and maybe less then 5k on AutoPilot. And those 5k I was forced to use AP because I was making changes to the OP code :) Anyway, in the community that uses my code we drive over 10k miles a day and new users are coming every day. And the driving models...

Say hello to an FSD/AP alternative, Comma Openpilot; OSS vehicle autonomy

With my adapter and OpenPilot branch the two systems fully coexist. You can enable either OpenPilot or AP1 at any point. As for benefits of OP vs AP1: - OP works on any roads, even unmarked - OP does not drive into trees or veers you off the road when driving over a hill and can’t see the road...

Say hello to an FSD/AP alternative, Comma Openpilot; OSS vehicle autonomy

This is how easy it is to install OpenPilot now on your AP1 equipped Tesla Model S. AP2+ experience is similar. Using the plug and play adapters I have designed and manufactured you can install OpenPilot in less than an hour for a better solution that works on unmarked roads, small roads, windy...

Say hello to an FSD/AP alternative, Comma Openpilot; OSS vehicle autonomy

We have added more plug-n-play solutions on Tinkla (TINKLA - Tinkering with Tesla) and next week we have the AP1 and AP2+ harnesses going up for sale as well. I maintain the main OpenPilot branch for Teslas (Pre and post AP). I have been running OP on my car since 2019. I also retrofitted AP1...

Model S Signature with Auto Pilot & Summon

I did the full retrofit as well, just to realize how much better OP is than AP1/AP2. So while i have both now, i still use OpenPilot 99% of the time. I just use the Ap1 summon capability when some jerk with a big pickup truck blocks me in a parking spot (happens a lot lately).

    WTB: complete Openpilot kit

things got a lot easier now. You can get everything but the Comma device from my website Tinkla.us. I have eliminated the need for EPAS harness and simplified the install completely.

    What is Open Pilot?

I just finished tuning longitudinal controls. Here are some links of Tesla Unity branch working on preAP tesla retrofitted with Bosch radar and pedal interceptor. First one through some nasty weather and second one through narrow construction zone. All info about this can be found on my website...

    What is Open Pilot?

I have it running on my AP1 car. It works so much better than first gen autopilot. Please look at my website for the requirements. My Tesla Unity branch started as an AP1 branch then was updated for preAP. The only thing that is not available yet to purchase (but Comma is working on one) is the...

    What is Open Pilot?

And please keep in mind i do this from passion, not to make money. I do not have any kind of deal with Comma. I sell my adapter for OBD-C at cost.

    What is Open Pilot?

The EON dev kit requires also a Black Panda which is 299 from Comma. Comma two (999) has the black panda built in. My ODB-C adapter will be $125. Also you might need a USB cable. I have updated all requirements on the tinkla website for preAP As for features, this is NOT FSD. preAP cars do not...

    What is Open Pilot?

No need for EPAS harness any longer. Tesla Unity branch of OpenPilot just got a lot easier to install without the need to take apart your frunk. Just a simple connector now to plug in your Comma C2/C3 directly into your OBD2 port. More info at TINKLA - Tinkering with Tesla

    What is Open Pilot?

It is very easy to start. Our community is also working hard to make it easy for nontechnical people to adopt openpilot. With some basic setup you can have a decent LKAS and ACC for Highway use.

Do you have the iBooster connector. All I care is the connector and whatever wire length you can give.
