After I complained about the continual rebooting of the display at the driver's side and frequent blank large screen (for several minutes) I was told by the service center that it is a "...known firmware problem" and a fix has not been developed as yet. At first they asked me for exact times of...
We get the same comments with our Model X. While there are several Teslas in our city, there are only about 4 MXs! Then we open the Falcon Wing and jaws drop further! 48,000 miles later, it's still fun!
I am not a very smart investor! despite having an accounting background, I don't really check P&L, company valuation or any of the important things that go into making an informed purchase. I buy stocks in companies whose products I use. My first computer was an Apple IIe. I earned a living for...
Years ago, I had a <sort of> similar situation at Home Depot. A rogue wind blew some wood fence panels into my new van causing $3200.00 damage. I filed a claim with risk management and, after three months, they denied the claim... "act of God". I told the store manager and he said, "I see you in...
I keep telling Elon that we, in Shreveport, LA have an excellent facility abandoned by GM! It is centrally located with interstates and airports.
C'mon Elon!
It is lots of fun in my Model X to blow the doors off every perceived threat! That is until I installed my State Farm low-rate-driving monitor which scores my driving. It is always looking over my shoulder, even punishing me when I slow down to avoid stopped traffic on the Interstate (What's up...
I told my brother that I was reaching the point where my Model X had paid for itself in fuel savings (I have free supercharging), so he asked "What is that point?"
I said, "stand by, I'll calculate it." ..Okay smart..s, it's 835,000 miles!
Terrific! It works just as expected. There was only one difference I noticed, the frunk doesn't as much as before the kit installation. It might be 2-3 inches less, but still works great!
I just received mine and will be installing it tomorrow. (first time...that should instill confidence!). I am in Shreveport, so if you don't have any success finding someone in DFW, I may be able to do it for you. If you are interested, message me on FB Messenger, and I'll let you know how...
I've had two similar eperiences. My wife killed two tires in 6 months. Our tow companies aren't as prepared because it usually took two hours and then they just dropped us off at the (closed) tired shop! I finally bought a spare rim and used tire for $250 (thank you Amazon) which I keep in my...
Absolutely true about changing minds of people who have already decided how they feel about something...or someone. For example: Trump-haters aren't going to change their minds even with positive facts on Economy, etc.
I used #4 on mine in 1" PVC. It connects easier to the charger since it's a 1" knockout already. And I used a 1" entrance ell so sheetrock didn't have to be removed.
