Mine has a similar gap. They replaced the rocker panel with a new one, but still a gap. Slightly better than before though. Mobile service came to replace it and thought the door would have to be pushed out. He said that could make it worse as far as wind noise, etc. Did you decide to do anything?

I was able to pick up a Y with 20" wheels and hitch in inventory for $5K off. This was in the bay area where I had to drive 50 miles to pick it up. Had 5 miles on it.

You would have to take the front wheel off, but best to get a hitch and bike rack
