    Rear Drive Unit Failed

I'm sure it may have the potential to be more reliable and most new companies do have growing pains. Less moving parts don't always mean less failures. Look at the case of Mazda's rotary engine. Solid state electronics can fail also and Tesla has a lot more of that then ICE cars.

Aftermarket Air suspension probably inst for you. You can raise and lower with preset button on the controller but accuracy isn't the best while moving. These are not full integrated systems so they do not have gps or any vehicle integration features. Intended uses are breaking necks at car...

Shouldn't be an issue if your wired up properly and don't use "show mode" . The management is only on when the car is on (when the 12v penthouse is powering the car and battery). Unless your using show mode on the airlift systems that keeps the system on when the car is off.

Couple hours here and there, I really took my time with wiring, routing, layout and hardlines. I also scraped a couple of frunk layouts using a false floor. My tap to the factory harness under the center console looks OEM. I also added the usb port to the center cubbie. Also all my wires are...

not 100% on this. I’ve had an endo tank with compressor and 4 valves before on a different car. And compressor failed warrantied the compressor and sold it. There are quite a few cases of failed endo compressors also. But airlift is not without its quirks and plethora of software issues.

Installed my bags 2 weeks ago. Ended up pulling them out to warranty / service a failed rear drive inverter a week later. Took the chance and converted the bag fittings to DOT PTC fittings. Also picked up some UP Sway Bars. Putting everything back in this weekend. Installed a lot of stuff this...

    Rear Drive Unit Failed

Did they replace your pyro fuse also? I wonder why they only replaced the rear inverter on mine while most get RDU replacements, for what seems to be the same problem with the inverter.

Update : Car is fixed. I pick it up tomorrow. They ended up changing the pyro fuse, inverter only, and 12v battery, according to the invoice. They wouldn't do the alignment due me having MPP camber and toe arms.

I'll be sure to post some pics once the parts come in. And maybe install process, planning on self install, might take a few months I'm pretty slow when working on personal projects. Install should be easy but making it look nice will be a challenge. Here's a pic of my last car on air...

MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

I was running with tender springs at the bottom most settings. Then changed to the aluminum spacer because of the inside of the main spring rubbing the top hat slightly and couldn’t get the car as low as before. Would be nice to reclaim the lower adjustment which out having to go back to the...

Neat idea with the tape measure. I'll give it ago. I have my floor leveled before for DIY alignment before (square drawn in floor at tire locations and laser level and 4 rulers, then shimmed each square for variance in height) Probably not perfect but worked well for me in the past. *edit* I...

MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

Any insight on measuring battery height on the ground? I'm guessing height should be measured at the axles. I would imagine rulers, calipers, and tape measure would not work very well with out the car being on an alignment lift. There is a a set screw on the front perch, use a 2mm hex and do...

I had the exact same issues. Same wheels and tires. I had it done at EAS in Anaheim, lucky for me those guys are pros with aftermrket wheels and were able to get it worked out. This is the 19x9.5 +22 on my M4. It is definitely more concave then the 19x9.0 on the 3. I was really hoping for 19x9.5 +35 originally. I think i saw it got added recently to Evasive's preorder list. Thinking of ordering a 2nd set as track wheels.
