Drove by the Burnet Road Service Center in Austin this afternoon and looks like they took delivery of about 20 Model S cars. Going to be alot of anxious and happy people in Austin the next few days...

I live a couple of miles from the site of the Austin Service Center, so I stopped by to see if there is any progress. There is now a sign out front and the outside of the building appears to be finished. No mention on the door as to the opening date though.

For those living in the Austin area that own Roadsters - Who do you have inspect your car every year in order to get the windshield stickers that are required in Texas?

How do you prevent the possibility of the battery discharging greatly in the time it takes to transport a vehicle cross country? Do you do have the seller do a "range charge" and hope it doesn't take forever to get the car to it new home to be replenished?
