OK IT Geek, didn't get what you meant at first. The CHAdeMO thing is quite expensive, but the cost of ownership gets diluted the more I use it, and I just used it again. Also I do a lot of very long trips (e.g. Gnv to San Diego, Gnv to Rochester NY, Gnv to Long Island, Gnv to Rhode Island etc...

IT Geek?? You have a serious math problem, as I wrote $5 per 42 miles, dunno where your brain is. About what it would cost for a performance liquidshitburner at $2.50ish per gallon. Much more expensive than free, which is what I pay at superchargers.

Still not working at about noon today, Jan 20th. So I thought I would check out the Electrify America thing outside Target, there are seven CCS chargers and one CHAdeMO there. CCS don't currently (no pun intended) work with Teslas, but CHAdeMO do with an adapter. So I had bought a Tesla CHAdeMO...

Yep it's online, I got ~100 miles after walking around a bit to see what was open at just before midnight. It's not a v3 supercharger as we all knew. Basically everything close by closed at ~midnight except Starbucks. I'll probably spend more time at Whole Foods (during the day time) from now on...

Just drove by, 10:15ish Wednesday 17th, there was a guy in a red model 3 walking doing something, not just taking pictures, looked sort of official. Didn't stop or ask him what he was up to as the Tesla guys sometimes get bothered by constant questioning. Anyway I'm not going to charge at work...

Yep, that's it, I stopped by this morning and talked to an installer, definitely Tesla, he just did the two new superchargers around Jacksonville. He wouldn't commit to when it would be finished though, likely a few weeks.

Yesterday, Sunday 10th February, I noticed a pile of barriers in the parking lot by Whole Foods, close to where the SC are supposed to be installed. Coincidence?
