DC - DC converter / AC compressor repair

Thanks, I'll give the fuse a shot and see if it takes care of it. One more question, is the heater fuse a 40a or a 20a?

DC - DC converter / AC compressor repair

My wife started complaining this morning that our 2013 P85 has no heat. Cooling is still functional as far as I can tell just looking at the temperature drop rate via the app. It seems most here have lost all heating/cooling capability at once. Is the heater PTC fuzed independently inside of...

    Battery degradation - 2019.32.2.2

I know of 3 owners in Phoenix that are all getting 100% charges in the 280s range, one car with only 7k miles. Maybe a minor correlation with temperature in a range, but not noticeable here.

    Supercharger - Kingman, AZ

I've been charging at Kingman since it opened and it's a complete disaster now. Line was 2 deep when we got there this afternoon. That costed 30min. Stall only put out 25kw max, guy next to me said he was getting only 10kw. Another 45 min charging at that abysmal rate. Took just enough to...

Devoted Teslonian now developing a resentment

You, and them, got blue paint and an AWD car. Is that not something? Because I got to drive my S for many months before it was 'devalued' by product upgrades. Tell me how many months I got to drive with my FSD package enabled before it was sold for less mean while Tesla was out saying it...

Devoted Teslonian now developing a resentment

For the big claim in this thread, youre making a total false analogy. The model t was actually delivered to the early customers who paid more for it. We got NOTHING for the early support and additional charge. No problem with paying more to get something early and actually getting it.

Devoted Teslonian now developing a resentment

I'm not a lawyer so I can't tell you what the claim would be. If they don't make it right I'd join just to show the resentment against their decision to screw over the early adopters and supporters that believed them when they said it would be more expensive later. A 1k refund to bring it in...

Devoted Teslonian now developing a resentment

Long time Tesla supporter/customer here. Very pissed that we paid 3k for something that was never delivered and is essentially now included for 1000 less. Would gladly join a class action if one begins to get refunded. EAP is no consolation. Im reading Elon's 1k back tweet as not applicable...

Is model 3 ready for future self driving?

I've noticed a marked improvement of this issue in my daily commute in 50.6. 1 lane splits right in the middle to two on the interstate. The car used to pinball wildly and randomly pick one. It now always chooses the left without any hesitation or swerving. NOA has gotten worse to the point...

Navigate on Autopilot is Useless (2018.42.3)

So with all the love for AP1 and the disdain for AP2, just what exactly is (stock) AP1 better at? I've driven both and AP2 excels in situations in which AP1 would drive off the road or throw up the red hands. NoA has its issues and isn't super useful in the current state, but overall it's not...

Navigate on Autopilot is Going to Cause Accidents

IMO, this is the issue that is going to cause an accident. There is a spot in my commute where one lane splits to two like this and it swerves hard into whichever lane it randomly selects. Drivers in the adjacent lanes do not appreciate. A hardcoded right or left rule would be better than...

Model 3 Performance Battery Degradation One Month (Story)

How the S used to be many versions ago. Aside from that, running on an unbalanced pack will unevenly stress higher charged cells, leading to increased degradation. Balancing is a good thing and necessary to perform.

Drop in driving distance @ 80% charged.

Non driving consumption will add to the total miles consumed, but doesn't have anything to do with the total rated range at the end of a charge, like op is concerned about.
  25. NuclearPowered

Drop in driving distance @ 80% charged.

Which is a function of battery total capacity and watt hours per mile consumption. With just % info you never really know if it's a change in driving style, environmental conditions or battery degradation.
  26. NuclearPowered

Drop in driving distance @ 80% charged.

Setting to % just masks a potential issue. Don't do that. There are a couple threads here documenting several of us experiencing the same or worse drop in rated range on new cars.
