Since it's been reported that the SR has less speakers than the SR+, if you request to be downgraded, do they turn-off 2 of the speakers to get to the SR level? I haven't seen any report that mentions that, so I'm curious.

There's a decent chance you didn't feel any vibration from the dash tweeter b/c it's a tweeter and it produces only the high sounds/frequencies. With the mids and woofers you'll feel more vibrations as they handle the lower-end frequencies.

How did you notify Tesla that you had some speakers that were not working. Did you send an email to Tesla customer service? Or, did you contact a Service Center by phone or do a drop-in?

Great to hear. I have the Standard Range Plus version, which does NOT have an existing subwoofer and amp. Would my fresh subwoofer install be any different than yours considering I don't have a stock sub or amplifier and all of the associated wiring that comes with those stock items?
