    Thanks for the heads up, but I'm not that bad off. The house is new, it's just that with my new solar installation, my breaker box is full. I'll either need to double up or bump up capacity. Nothing catastrophic....just need some planning.

    If only. Unfortunately, my wife HATES to drive. Doesn't matter what the car is. Maybe this will change that, but I'm not holding out hope.

    The truth? I just dropped $52k on a car, and my wife made a face when I told her the wall charger was another $500. I'm sure that will be the final solution....just not right now :)

    As I said early....I have the 15A/120V option. Thanks for all of the advice, all. I think as an interim option, I'm going to have a 14-50 socket installed, which should be plenty until I get around to installing the wall charger.

    I'll have a standard 110V outlet available to charge from, so hopefully I can get my 'errand' distance from that. I'm hoping to get the Tesla charger installed later this summer, but in the meantime, I'm a little nervous.

    I'm taking delivery of my AWD Model 3 on Saturday, but I'm not getting the home charger right away (house needs some electrical work first). There are charging options at work, and around town, but I would really feel more comfortable if I could plug in at home. I was wondering if anyone else...
