End of a love affair :(

Fellsteruk, to be clear the service centre have been faultless. I genuinely feel for the poor guy who has to call every few weeks, knowing he is waiting an unreasonable time for the same news that I am. They are courteous, understanding and remorseful for the way it’s all handled and they...

End of a love affair :(

Wannabeowner, trust me. I’m on the same page. I pray for the day when all cars are electric and Tesla’s are easily the best of them. I hate the fact our kids have to breathe the pollution on our streets. It should have happened way before this in 2020. I still love the cars. I just think it’s...

Is this reasonable? Model X in SC for 3+ months.

Thanks people, appreciate your support. It’s really annoying that such a brilliant product is so let down by the after sales support. P.s. If it was anywhere near 50k miles I’d half understand. But it’s only done 20k or so and not even 2 yrs old.

End of a love affair :(

I thought this was just me. Cold toes 30 mins in most days. In fact, my heater vents are all fully autonomous, maybe I ticked the full heating self drive option. One of the things that bugs me the most about the car is that no matter where you specify you want the ventilation on. I.e. just...

End of a love affair :(

And seriously WTF is up with Spotify. I don’t believe it’s just me an my X, as well the S they gave me for 3 months (with 5 seats for my 6 bum family) and the X they gave me last week after I lost my *sugar*, constantly having to illegally hold one of my young children on my partners lap in the...

End of a love affair :(

You’re right and that made me laugh out loud. (The 1st world comment. Not your troubles with Tesla.) And while these are indeed 1st world problems. I (as I’m sure most others) certainly had to put in a lot of 3rd world hard work to get ourselves in a position to be able to buy one of these suckers.

Is this reasonable? Model X in SC for 3+ months.

Except that in the UK they are so short of Tesla loaners that in most cases they give you a crappy diesel ‘exec’ car. My X is a 6 seat (if remember correctly, it’s been so long) and although I managed to squeeze a model S out of them... it’s meant that’s we have been travelling around...

End of a love affair :(

Gruf, Sorry dude... sounds like you’ve had it bad too. The whole P pricing is a mind bender. To suggest going back to ICE does say it all, you must be deeply frustrated by them too.. In the depths of a very early not even mid life crisis, I went out a month ago and bought one of the last...

End of a love affair :(

Thank you for your contributions and advice (and for those who emailed, clearly it’s a ‘who cries loudest’ approach). As suggested by Tevvy I have just sent a message on the mytesla site requesting to escalate my issue. I won’t hold my breath.. judging by how the rest of this experience has...

Is this reasonable? Model X in SC for 3+ months.

Hello from London, UK I wonder if you guys can offer me some advice as there aren't nearly as many Model X owners over here to get a clearer picture of what i should do about my situation. I reserved my Model X in 2016 as soon as it was released in the UK and it arrived in April 2017. I had...

End of a love affair :(

I reserved my Model X in 2016 and it arrived in April 2017. I had some relatively forgivable issues when they delivered it (curbed alloy, issues with the leather on the passenger seat, dent in the frame near FWD, misaligned main front camera, crunching door mechanism and maybe a few other...
