I think even with 3k autopilot us SR folks are getting an incredible deal that won't be available for much longer. Edit: that being said...all this confusion is annoying as hell lol

They're losing money on base model 3's without any upgrades, probably a lot. I wouldn't expect it to go down to 2k.

This is insane. I called Tesla and they said they show the lower price in their system and to ignore what my account says on the website. I tried again to get delivery today before they can change their mind again :/. Crossing my fingers for three days. I'm going to bring my signed purchase...

I was emailed a signed purchase agreement. As far as I know a purchase agreement is a binding contract. Any legal folks here that can offer advice?

Bad news 35k-ers...I just logged in and they added $3k to my account for autopilot. If I already have an email with a purchase agreement saying it's included, do I have a leg to stand on here?

My purchase order with VIN says autopilot and blue paint 36k. Ordered March 7th and didn't take the bait on the fake delivery date at the end of March.

I got a “submit final payment before delivery date” page, which is new, but I don’t have a delivery date. Also the order agreement PDF doesn’t reflect the price on my order page. Should I make this payment or wait for a date and the order agreement to look right?

I wouldn't be surprised if my price changes before I get a VIN assigned. Maybe I'll get lucky. I originally ordered with autopilot and then upgraded to blue paint later.

Nah, no delivery or VIN yet. I did call this morning and ask to have my order reflect the new prices. I just called again this afternoon and the guy said it's possible I'll get a delivery date this weekend, but I'm not holding my breath too hard.

I have a SR on order with autopilot and blue paint upgrade. Am I now going to get leather seats and with the reduction of price on blue paint and AP is my price going to go down? This is weird.

For me I prefer cloth seats and so everything else wasn’t worth the $2k.

I got the same delayed delivery text today after a call asking if I wanted to upgrade to a SR+. I don’t blame them but looks like they sent those dates to try to push some upgrades.

Florida actually, which was surprising. I live in California and ordered 3 days later and haven’t heard a thing on my SR.

Someone on reddit said they got a vin and delivery date for a standard range they ordered 3/4/2019. Maybe they’ll push the base model out as well as SR+ by the end of the quarter!

Thanks! That would actually be pretty ideal for my lease, even if I’m willing to eat a month or two of payments to get my Tesla earlier :)

I’m guessing the base standard interior is probably not going to come out this quarter? Haven’t heard of a single person getting a VIN or delivery date.
